I gotta say, I dont get all the hype. The racing itself seems pretty bland. And zones seems like a pretty stupid mode. Im not entirely pleased with my purchase.

I got 24 'perfect' zones while reaching zone 47 on Anulpha Pass but yet no Own the Zone trophy. obviously cause i didn't get 20 CONSECUTIVE perfect zones but how in the hell are you supposed to know how many consecutive zones you're on/you've gotten?
Its just i read about people posting they got 17, 18, 19 zones before crashing and I get the impression they think they were close to earning the Own the Zone trophy. But as it says 'Achieve 20 CONSECUTIVE perfect zones' to earn the trophy!!!

Well I managed to get the Own the Zone trophy last night. It wasn't too hard, but my brain got fryses in the proyed.

its when you go through a zone without hitting the wall or going off the track at all. you know you had a perfect zone if none of these things happen during the passing of the zone. however, you don't have to pay attention to that when you are going for 20 consecutive zones b/c you will need to get several perfect laps in a row in order to get 20 perfect zones in a row. and you know you got a perfect lap b/c the announcer lady will say "perfect lap" every time. on anulpha pass it took me more than 7 laps i believe. the 20th zone is passed roughly after the first big left turn in the beginning of every lap.

IMO anulpha pass is the best place to get any zone trophy. it has the least amount of turns and the only real tough parts are the first turn and the narrow part just after that. i found myself getting perfect zones in super zen zones (46-48 i believe are the zones that i got perfect cause it was a perfect lap).
