Ah shell, went ahead and pre-ordered the exclusive. At least they won't charge until December, I can worry about budgeting for it then.

I guess this year it's TMNT vs (Shin) Godzilla since both are returning to theaters during the same week and both dropped premium 4K sets on the same day.

Got the store exclusive art. That artwork is fire plus I know the original art will be inside the box anyway and it didn't cost extra.

Funny that the blu ray set is only $5 cheaper, feels like there should be at least a $10 margin in between.
Also taking preorder $ while not posting any specific extras for another month is lame. I understand some is still in flux but surely they know a few things for certain. By the way the store exclusives will sell out long before full extras reveal so if you want those, you can't wait.

Only seen the first film at some sort of trade show and I did enjoy it. Not seen it since so maybe take a look.

At this point I wonder if it's contractual obligation to only use stills of the turtle suits from the third film when releasing marketing and press materials for the trilogy?

It blows my mind that images of those budget suits are even allowed to be used at all, when surely one would think only the first film's turtle suits look appealing.

Last night Shin Godzilla went up on Walmart with only a $5 difference between the steelbook and the standard version. Struck me as strange.
