I doubt he actually makes much money at all by streaming.

I guess that would work. Otherwise at the moment, streaming for a single film is not a good way for a filmmaker to make money unless they are shooting ultra cheap stuff on video - or think they are making a masterpiece that will get them discovered by Hollywood (which usually never happens) - so they don't care if they lose money.

I think Fred Williamson brought up, on one of your disks, that there are tons of cheap movies being made for little money and it's not worthwhile for him to try to make a film by previous low budget standards and have to compete with people shooting ultra low budget films with cheap video cameras that are flooding the market. I completely agree with him.

Lol. Maybe he thinks you're the only game in town. You have to convince these people that physical media is still a viable market - just tell them about Vinegar Syndrome, Arrow, Severin, et al. Don't shortchange the rest of the boutiques - you stand to lose too if you only pimp Code Red. BTW, the only people making money from streaming are - you guessed it - the major studios. Is the film in question being streamed somewhere? Some of these film owning geezers are living in permanent bubbles.

I feel like "The Mad Foxes" is just begging for a Code Red or Dark Forces blu ray release here in the states. I believe Mr. Band over at Full Moon may have the DVD rights and while I took the time a few years back to import the Austrian release, this is a film I'd have no problem double dipping on and one I would think would do rather well as it's filled to the brim with bat shit crazy moments.
