Gotta differentiate between a person who did bad things in their private lives and movies they made or starred in. We shouldn't ban media because of the actions of a single person involved in the film

In many cases that cut footage is discarded so it's always exciting when those scenes are preserved even if it's via a print. Prints can always be restored/remastered so it's better than nothing. Looking forward to an uncut Stingray
At the time, the MPAA were notorious for imposing severe cuts and absurd alterations. Also didn't help that distributors were willing to make changes to get all the box office profits they could.

thank you. people are assuming i’m about to launch into a woke campaign or something but if anyone looked at my blu-ray collection they’d see that i own the friday the 13th that brascia’s in, which is among my favorites of the series. my question stemmed more from curiosity. people are just always in their corners ready to argue. welcome to the internet, i guess.

Appreciate that bsend. Finally in the 4th year of operation it really feels like Dark Force has hit its stride in terms of being able to acquire and release some great titles. This of course being the biggest challenge for any label and the single most important factor in defining a label. We look forward to giving them new life like only a stellar Hi-Def release can do best. The most fulfilling part of this business. It really feels like each and every movie released is one of ours even though we didn't actually make them. Quite strange considering we actually did make "the most brutal film ever released."

Even though I only have five Dark Force Blu-rays in my collection, I am extremely pleased with all of them and want to add more.

I've been wanting to get The Last Victim (Forced Entry), but am apprehensive because I've heard from a few people there is a longer (10-15 minutes) cut that isn't presented on the Blu-ray. Whether that's correct, I don't know, but here are a couple of reviews from amazon.com.

Dave said they had the 16mm negative for Ride The Hot Wind in a livestream from like a week ago. Didn't see it mentioned here.

Its UNCUT VERSION that played in the theaters, not the TV VERSION that is floating on the internet. Extra also will be done...

Re FORCED ENTRY

There is a UK VHS that runs 83 min, ( 86:33 ntsc )
and that is considered the pre futz'd with directors cut.

Regardless of other versions, both cuts on the Dark Force blu-ray include a title card inserted by the filmmaker stating that they are both his directors cut of each version . Was not inserted by Dark Force either as you can tell by the date and production info noted on the card, it was included by the filmmaker himself.

So if you want the definitive versions as edited by the filmmaker the Dark Force version is the way to go. If you want a repro of some old longer VHS cut with inserts etc the director didn't like, then better off getting the VHS.

It was R rated

Bootleggers used TV print to pimp the film.

I checked my Magdalena slip again today and it finally bubbled up and started flaking.

I have never felt more manly in my life.

I used to have the Harmony Vision VHS tape that came in a gold clamshell case. I think I only watched it once, in the 80s, so I couldn't tell you how it compares. Interestingly, the back of the box claims 88 minutes on the tape. I'm not sure what the 92 minute version is that the review quotes.

Although I would love to have a complete version at some point, although it looks like others were tampering with the edit through the years, I did prefer the Last Victim version on the bluray. In terms of quality of the print used, it was excellent.
