I think mine was set to arrive on Wednesday via UPS Mail Innovations or whatever they call the UPS to USPS service. I upgraded it to be delivered Tuesday with MyUPS, mostly because I also have the BTTF set coming with it too.

Thank you for taking the time to post pics and info! I can't wait to receive my set!

I was on the fence of ordering the figure box set or skipping it. After seeing the photos of it I'm skipping it. The Jurassic Park figure was nice, the details were sharp. This looks cheaper and a glossy mess, IMO. The T-Rex in JP set had nice, defined teeth and features...the new set is just grossly painted and cheap looking.

None of the special cases etc for this release looked very great to me. The standard 3D slipcover edition is the way to go for this title. Less is more.

If you upgraded it via UPS My Choice it must be UPS SurePost, which is basically UPS Ground to the local depot + USPS final mile; the upgrade puts it on a brown truck instead like real UPS Ground. It has both standard UPS and (as noted in the UPS tracking results) USPS tracking numbers; the USPS number isn't relevant till if & when USPS gets it (delivery day or the day before).

UPS Mail Innovations is a separate dedicated freight network with regional depots that deliver only to USPS facilities, like FedEx SmartPost or DHL eCommerce (fka Global Mail). It has *only* a USPS tracking number, which can be used at either UPS.com or UPSMI's own site to track it till it hits USPS. Since it doesn't go thru the local UPS depot (at least not in trackable form), it can't be upgraded thru UPS My Choice.

I don't think there's been mention of the Exclusive being included with the 3D.
I believe it is only the 2D.

Mail just came!
JP2 and Jp3 are fine!
No dents, scratches dings or any other imperfections.

The Cardboard holder is surprizingly sturdier than it looks, though I'm still gonna put a piece of Foam in it just so that nothing warps the cardboard!
All in all, I'm extremely happy with the way these look!

Now just gotta wait for Monday's Post!
JP1!

And then Thursday's Post
JP4!

Anyone interest in buying the shirt? I have no need for it.

I'm with you on this. I'm not feeling the look of the round tin on the shelf.

Just letting my Amazon pre-order of the normal case ship at this point. $5 off is worth more to me than a featurette on a DVD from Target and I get to sleep in.

Ah yea, I always get those mixed up, I usually see one or the other and just think it's gonna take longer. Thanks for the info.

The are pretty cool. I'd put them in plastic sleves to keep them alined with the regular cases. I assume the older movies are just the remastered discs?

Funny that Amazon doesn't offer the $5 Gift Card with the Limited Edition Gift Set.

The Target Exclusives will have 30 minutes of additional content (likely on a DVD). So it's definitely more than just one featurette.

It's likely the content will be similar to the bonus feature DVD included on a Limited edition in Australia.

I will be getting my Target preorder of the 2D tin exclusive on Tuesday, along with the $5 gift card for preordering early. I admit I'm not too fond of the packaging, but I'll live with it.

The Target Exclusive bonus content (and Target cafe freebies) are being included on Target's 2D tin and specially marked 3D regular case packaging.

While Target's ad next week has the 2D tin advertised for $17.99, there is no mention how much the 3D edition (regular or exclusive) will be.

Target.com shipped both my preorders for the 2D tin and 3D regular edition and I will receive both on Tuesday. However, my preorder for the 3D exclusive has yet to be shipped.
