Have you seen The Young Cycle Girls, Cinema84? Pretty brutal movie. Also for you 80's slasher fans we have Hard Rock Nightmare comin' right up from the original 35mm negative and of course the 70's drive-in cult classic FANGS aka HOLY WEDNESDAY. So not just motorcycles around here, although they can be a lot of fun too. Dark Force 666

I had only seen "Young Cycle Girls" prior in its seriously edited VHS version, with video-morph 'edits' and new-solarized footage known as "Cycle Vixens", which was an absolutely awful version.

But I absolutely LOVED the uncut version of the original "Young Cycle Cirls" on Dark Force's Blu-Ray - still not much of a plot, but that's not what the film is about, it definitely delivers!!!! Regular looking girls, regular actresses, nudity, some drugs and bad situations,
[Show spoiler]and one helluva ending!!!!
Loved every minute of it!!!

One of Dark Force's best!

Thank you very much for that feedback iamnoone. We completely agree that this is one of our best releases. Surprisingly the sales started off slower than expected but no doubt this one will continue to sell with word of mouth.

I have to agree completely, Young Cycle Girls was great. I'd never seen it before now, but great cinematography and it's like a time capsule of late 70's western US states... and holy hell, that ending?!? Totally unexpected. My jaw was dropping when the credits rolled. It gets a strong recommendation from me. Really nice looking transfer too... strong detail and colors, and I didn't really notice any print damage to mention.

Anyways, I pre-ordered Stingray earlier...

EDIT: Looks like it went up Tuesday according their Facebook page. So I'm just late to the party.
You're not the only one who's late - if Katatonia hadn't bumped the thread I would've been oblivious to this being out. I'm still traumatized by those 2 AM blink-and-you'll-miss Dark Force preorders so I quickly ordered a copy just now before the store closes again

Hey Dave, please consider switching to clear Elite cases for all your releases. I keep having to buy blank cases to replace those ugly blue ones with square corners.

I really like those square corner cases. I think they might actually be my favorite style of Blu Ray case. They don't pop quite as nicely as the clear ones do (which I use for my vestron releases) but if I was going to change all of my cases to one style I think I'd actually prefer the squared off design. Do we know who makes those?

Maybe Dave closes the store so that he doesn't get too many orders at once than he can quickly mail. I have a feeling that may be the reason. He can rotate stock at the same time, but if he is doing everything by himself without breaks, you can burn out really badly.

"Brand New 2021 interview with writer/director ALESSANDRO De GAETANO (Project Metalbeast, Haunted, UFO Target Earth) to be featured in the extras of new Dark Force release BUTCH CAMP (1996). Beautiful Brand New HD Master puts previous terrible DVD release to shame! Not the typical Dark Force release but this movie is over the top!! JUDY TENUTA is the boss!!
COMING THIS MONTH FROM DARK FORCE:

Curious how many of the glow in the dark Magdalena slips made it out intact. I miraculously have one that has held up since I received it. Outside of the ones that Dave just recently sold, they are the only other ones that I’m aware of.

Might this be the most limited boutique slip in existence? Are we talking 100 or less? Maybe only a few dozen?

"... and his self-steem". I really want the covers to get printed like that so we can have another limited run print from DF.

I doubt they'd go to the trouble and expense of reprinting it for a missing "e".

That's an excellent question. So originally 1,500 of those glow slips were created and a vast amounted of them ended up peeling very badly. Oddly though, a very small number of them did go largely unaffected. Not exactly sure the exact number on those as we are still going through the inventory and we don't know the fate of all the ones that did get shipped, however if I had to estimate there could be 200 to 300 in existence that are almost perfect. A real shame because I think it was one of our coolest looking custom slips.

Fortunately that title has not gone into print yet so we will fix that typo.

Has any Dark Force subscribers received their YONG CYCLE GIRLS yet? I still haven't gotten mine.

One of the best chances I took was the DARK FORCE subscription package, and I wish Dave would offer it again. I would re-subscribe in a heartbeat. In the meantime the last disc I got was REVENGE OF THE BUSHIDO BLADE.

Dave, reconsider offering another subscription and send me some CYCLE GIRLS!

Out of curiosity, how many magnets, pieces of swag have you gotten in total with last years subscription package?

To be honest, I don't really pay attention to the swag. The magnets and stuff goes into a shoebox in my closet.
