LOL! By no means do I mean that as a slight to the entire United Kingdom. I've had the pleasure of visiting several cities in the UK, and would love to go back! I was more directing that towards AmazonUK's shipping department!

Still nothing on the tracking sites however. It did have a New Jersey International sticker from 11/28. The package is a ghost -- I wonder if there is any other record that DHL keeps of these packages. Surely they must manually record something as well as the scanned UPC

Happy Happy Joy Joy! I'll even throw a smiley in for that and use my 1 allotted emoticon for the month up early

Glad to hear you got your package!
Mine was due yesterday, and DHLGlobal still doesn't show the number existing! Hopefully mine shows up as well!

Freaking Amazon.de is a joke compared to Amazon.co.uk

My Hitchcock collection shipped on the 25th and arrived today. I bought a steelbook that shipped on the 15th from Amazon.de and it still hasnt arrived.

I'm not sure if that's got anything to do with amazon.de
Transit times for overseas' shipments can vary a lot. I had the same with my last 2 US shipments. One was sent a week before the other and they arrived a week apart but the other way round. Blame customs.

Very happy with the UK set...watched Rear Window, one of my favorites. Really enjoyed drooling over Grace Kelly!

This has happened more than once. Takes almost 25 days for things to arrive from them. Its DHLGA. It's awful. I've order from HMV, Amazon.co.uk and members here overseas. Takes 2 weeks max. Amazon.de has taken twice as long both times I've ordered from them.

Oh I see, so it's because they're using a different courier. Never heard of DHLGA before. You'd think DHL would operate at the same speed everywhere but obviously that's not the case.

Geeez, still no package yet. It was due on 11/30. I'll give it until Friday and then email AmazonUK.

I'll be right behind youbut I wonder is USPS can do something by looking up the DHLGA tracking number to see if they have a record of transfer? I might give that a shot tonight.

BTW - I notice Columbia, MD - I was there from 71-73 - I recall most things there still being shiny and new.

I tried looking up on the USPS website, just like DHLGlobal, it doesn't even exist. I was encouraged when another member stated he got his, with no tracking showing in the database. Of course that was last week!
I seem to recall my UK Universal Monsters set taking a long time, and when I contacted AmazonUK, they said to give it 10 business days after the posted delivery date and then file an official complaint. It did show on the 10th day, so that would mean the 12th, in this case. Hopefully we can report or sets in by then!!

How about that! A small world. Yeah I'm sure it's gotten a little "busier" since your time here...but still, year-in/year-out, one of the top 20 living locales in the country!

The other day I won what I thought was the standard set on eBay for £55.
Imagine my utter disbelief and shock when the postman knocked on my door thirty minutes ago and presented me with a large parcel.

Inside was the Collectors set all fully sealed and untouched. I'm over the moon to say the least.

It's a lovely set, so well designed and put together. I'm so happy I didn't just buy the standard set on release day.
