I couldn't agree more. I never could have imagined that I'd be this interested in this franchise. After seeing Fast 5, I've been hooked ever since. Whether it's due to Paul's passing or not, I like the change in the title, Furious 7; I think it mixes well with the last several titles released...

The film was originally scheduled to be released on April 10, 2015. On July 2014, it was announced that the film's release date was moved up to April 3. In October 2014, Universal revealed the film's official title as Furious 7.

I believe this film will feel like an ending of one story and the telling of another. It maybe a sort of, "passing of the franchise," from one director to another. From one mix of stars, to another. I've been anticipating this release since it was announced

Well, the original title of the sixth film is Furious 6 (that's the one used by the director and in the film itself).

What mix of stars do you think are being given this franchise? I just assumed all of the new names were playing villains.

I have concerns about all of the 2015 movies:

Star Wars: Episode VII - The prequels were a disaster and a the original cast is past their prime. Can they recapture the magic?

Avengers: Age of Ultron - The first Avengers movie was a lot of fun, but Phase 2 has been uneven. Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 were weak, whereas Cap 2 was amazing and Guardians was very good. So which type of movie will we get next May?

Bond 24 - Casino Royale was great, Quantum of Solace was bad. Skyfall was great, Bond 24....?

Furious 7 - A new director, a lead actor who was only able to film half his role, and the inescapable fact that this franchise has just as many bad entries as good ones.

Well, with the return of Lucas Black (who only starred in 1 film), the beautiful Elsa Pataky (Fast 5, Fast & Furious 6), and our Hollywood legend Kurt Russell (who may star in more sequels), along with John Brotherton, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Jason Statham, who knows what will happen to all of these characters Maybe we'll see a turn of Monica Fuentes (Eva Mendes) in other sequels as well. It may not look directly like a "passing of the franchise" when it comes to casting, but it's just the beginning

Well whatever happens to those characters, like I said, I just hope this franchise isn't driven into the ground (pun intended).
