Weren’t those only pictures taken by a camera? We can’t judge anything yet.

I really hope they don't reuse the English subtitles on the Blu-rays because, for JP 1 and 2, they were all heavily summarized and reworded subtitles that scarcely matched what was said on screen. They were unusually terrible, where most Universal English subtitles are very good about being verbatim. I can only hope that they do a new English SDH track, but I get the feeling they're gonna reuse the old one...
Well ,thank you.

I could go along with English SDH, though If I want Greek subs I have to go with the UK release, which Jurassic World is sold separetely and the whole package it cost 75 sterlings, which I find it extremely overpriced!

You're welcome! That's at least been the trend I've seen thus far, but I definitely hear that. It's too bad if you have to import it just to get Greek subtitles. Honestly, I'm surprised we still haven't received a formal announcement from Universal about this set yet!

EDIT: Especially if that import costs more and comes with less movies!

Well, I'm not going for the UK release. The costs are forbidden to my wallet.

Thank God my English is very ok,so I'm buying the cheaper US release.

Besides ,I have the collection on BD with Greek subs ,so i think I'm all set.

P.S. You've mentioned before "Lone Survivor" which is one of my favourite war movies, based on true events.I have the US 4K disc because it never find it's way in GREECE,even as a BD!!! tragic..

Exactly. And using some streaming source that has not been reported to be the same files as will be on the UHD Blu-ray, as evidence... I wish folks would wait for the actual release and actual screenshots of the UHD before deciding this is gonna be or likely to be "Insanely DNR'd"; which is subjective, as to my eyes those photos show the picture having some grain structure.

I totally agree with you. That being said, the iTunes 4K versions of JP I & III that were just made available are absolutely horrendous. What people are seeing in those photos is "real." Whether that is any indication of the quality of the coming discs is another story entirely.

And they swapped them with proper in-store skus aside from the movie money one.

Sorry about that.

Ha, that is very fortunate! I know, I can't argue with $50 for four 4K movies, honestly, and I'm one of those people who honestly enjoys The Lost World and III well enough to jump right on this preorder.

Maybe you'll get lucky and the U.S. edition is meant for more markets than just ours, and they'll add additional subtitle tracks. Sorry the Greek market for movies seems so neglected! Lone Survivor was my first Universal 4K, and I have no regrets. It's definitely up there for me, too!

It would be an absolute disgrace if Universal provides anything short of "reference" quality UHD discs, considering the significance of this set, as well as the UHD format!

I hope that there are reviews available on blu-ray.com prior to the scheduled release date, so that I like most others can cancel our preordered disks in the event that the transfers are anything short of demo quality.

Heh, if most of this site's reviews are anything to go by then they'll be the opposite of what the review says they are...

Really? I actually use blu-ray.com extensively to evaluate the reviews of the video and audio quality as a guide as to whether or not to purchase the disc. If they rate the video 3.5 or less I will pass on the purchase.

So, are you saying typically they aren't accurate?

I take it you're not a regular in the 4K threads?

Agree. Have to shake my head after reading some of the 4k reviews. There are several puzzling ones with It coming to mind right away.

No doubt the 4K reviews on this site are very questionable.

Not from me. Not as horrible as the unholy trinity of T2, Ultimate Hunter Edition and Melting Butler, but still too damn waxy. Chamber of Secrets UHD is absolute limit for me DNR-wise.

That's a much more reasonable price for the 4k steel book.

I'll wait for people to get physically copies to reference, none of this other chatter.

Too many variables come into play from individual opinions in the threads. (ie: equipment being used and some interesting choices in settings that people use.)
