I could just pretend in a way that they came in two packages. What’s the difference, right?

And I realize it’s only $5, but it just kinda rubs me the wrong way, especially since I asked for the refund.

One time Dave accidentally sent me the wrong item, and out of the kindness of my heart and the respect for the community, I went out of my way and sent Dave back the item, even though he said I could just keep it if I wanted to.

I’ve been buying from Dark Force since day one but this kinda makes me consider never ordering direct from Dark Force again.

Idk maybe I’m overreacting or looking into it too much…

Shocking complaint. $5 can buy much anymore. That Maria 2 disc costed a fortune to create with all new telecine. That release was a major loss.

You got a collectors item.

It'll be never pressed again.

I think I would be annoyed too, especially since you did them a solid and returned the film before. If anything, they should at least respond.

You're worried about 5 dollars huh? Y'know how much money it costs us to put out these damn releases? Minimum 20,000 to 40,000 on average. And a lot of time and effort. Sometimes when there are multiple orders from the same person they are shipped together but then the cost of the shipping goes up anyway than it would if it were the one movie. We get hundreds to sometimes even thousands of orders a month through the store and countless messages requesting all kinds of things from tracking numbers to changes in orders. Very difficult to keep track of as we don't have a big staff like companies like Vinegar Syndrome or Shout Factory do. Not to mention all the crap we just recently had to deal with on those custom slipcovers. So yeah you may be overreacting just a little bit. No disrespect to five dollars...

I once got an entire replacement Vinegar Syndrome monthly package because the original had gotten lost. The original shipment turned up eventually so I felt it was my duty to send it back and I did so on my dime. Never even got a thanks. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be nice. Next time I'm keeping it.

Not particularly surprised that these clowns would do something like that. Bill did it to me back in the day with the cartel, and I figured that was the cost of dealing with these fools.

I got like 5 months worth of titles, but it's a long story. VS didn't bat an eye, and they sent them out. That's real customer service, not the typical Marx Brothers crap you see here.

The extras on the Stingray disc were surprisingly polished and professional, which was a welcome surprise. Have grown tired of the blurry fuzz-o-vision of zoom calls and makeshift point-and-shoot jobs of late. No one rambled and the interviews were interesting. Who is doing the extras for DF now? Great job.

And the customer service is what differentiates VS from DF. Jut stop trying to keep the $5 as it doesn't cost $5 to ship two items.

And what's even more amazing is the amount of commotion stirred here over FIVE DOLLARS. It's so true that some of the biggest battles can start over the smallest thing. To be honest, we actually missed the customer's messages regarding the refund as they came in right when the new release DRIVE-IN #12 hit and we got inundated with emails. Otherwise under normal circumstances we would gladly address the issue and try to resolve it to the customer's satisfaction. Contrary to popular belief, Dark Force always aims to please.

Can you just repress Primal Rage and Blue Monkey, it blows my mind, you have two releases that people want and will be ongoing sellers and all the authoring etc is paid for - but you wont repress them. Obviously you are in this business to make money, as I don't even think you know anything about most of these movies aside from what Bill has told you...which is fine....make money on repressing the stuff people want.
