As a longtime JP fan, when I first saw the news of the title and teaser poster, I was underwhelmed. The title doesn't do much for me now, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. I have completely faith that they are making this movie correctly, so hopefully everything will make sense come next year.

I'm gonna be there for day one. Jurassic Park/World has already earned my money! Can't wait!

Some Dilophosaurus action would be great, it has always been my favorite appearance in the original JP.

JP still inspires a sense of wild-eyed wonder for me, I saw it as a kid in 1993 and it's become even more magical as I've growed up. Everything about it is just so good because it's got so many people at the height of their powers like John Williams, Stan Winston and Seņor Spielbergo himself, as well as ILM taking more steps into the world of CG. Throw in a fantastic cast where even the kids are likeable - no mean feat - and it's truly one for the ages.

Superman: The Movie has the same magic too, when the man of steel flies up to catch the Daily Planet's whirlybird. Just fantastic.

There are only a handful of films that will always take my breath away.

Rumor is of more aquatic dinosaurs, also there is a role of a submarine pilot. So that kinda ties into that, or that the Mososaur escaped it's pool.

I hope there's a scene in the sequel explaining that in detail.

Explaining that and Pterosaurs not being Dinosaurs might sadly be too much minutiae for a public that believes Dilophosaurus spits venom.

Personally I think the animals as they really looked (or well, obviously we still don't know 100% what they looked like, but we get closer all the time) are beautiful. In real life they would probably look more like this vs. the bipedal lizards of Jurassic Park.

I'd love to see a proper, big-budget film with more scientifically accurate dinosaurs, maybe not in a Jurassic Park sequel (though they opened the door in JW, where Wu states many of the dinosaurs would look very different if they were more "pure" and not mixed with all kinds of modern animals), but something. Anything.

Compsognathus. I know those. Use proper English, Leonidas.

[Show spoiler]Kidding. I thought it was an English word I didn't know.

Oh be quiet. They are called "Compies" or Compys

They also make a small cameo in JPIII

This leads me to believe that "Fallen Kingdom" is actually Isla Nublar from the first Jurassic Park film.. So we may be heading back there in this one.
The gyrosphere from Jurassic World is also gonna be in this movie. It was pulled for production from the picture car display at Universal Studios' Studio Tour. The Jeep is still there though.

It's frankly too bad that with modern FX we really haven't gotten more big budget Dinosaur movies outside of the Jurassic Park franchise and showing up as King Kong's punching bag.

Problem is that people would just compare it to the 'Jurassic' franchise. It's like with giant robots people would just say it was copying Transformers. I guess Pacific Rim gets away with it as they are big suits.

I agree though, more dino movies would be great. I'm genuinely surprised we never got a Dino Riders movie.

Yes, I know. It was a lot easier than saying ginormous aquatic reptiles.
