I used futureshop because it was very close to home for me (on the way home from work). It was easy to stop in and get what I needed. Generally I would just price match to Amazon anyways lol!

No confirmation on that, but the conversion is starting to happen. Interstellar is now available as a "Best Buy Exclusive" Steelbook. Says it is sold out in stores but is available for online purchase.

If I had my guess, any future Steelbooks (Spongebob, Fifty Shades of Grey, etc.) will show up both in stores and online but past exclusives will likely stay online only.

Now I'm curious to see if they will sell that Spongebob Steel as they already have a pre order for their own exclusive, however it's on the 3D set, so maybe they'll carry both exclusives?

As I understand it, ALL versions in the initial print run have the film cell. I think it's subtle attempt to get people to lobby to keep film prints around.
