Colton has a good voice but that hair and those skinny jeans .... I can't deal with those right now.

Deandre and Joshua are overrated IMO. Do not like them at all. Everyone else I pretty much like.

Randy said he thinks Heejun will go home. But I think he has a big enough fanbase to keep him in the competition for a few more weeks. I really hope Shannon doesn't go home. Or any of the other girls.

Hollie wont win the whole competition but she should go fairly far though. Here are my thoughts for tonight and predictions for tomorrow:

Phillip Phillips - This kid is a natural and I loved his performance.

Jessica Sanchez - Very bad song choice but she should be safe based on past performances and great voice.

Heejun Han - I actually liked this performance better than last week. It wasnt great but it was good.

Elise Testone - Amazing voice and bounced back very nicely tonight.

Deandre Brackensick - Safe song choice but sang it very well.

Shannon Magrane - To me she is the weakest link at this point. She couldnt handle this song either. Why try to sing a Whitney or Mariah song when u just dont have it. She is on thin ice.

Colton Dixon - This kid is another natural and J-Lo said there could be an all girl final, I could easily see a all guy final between him & Phillip.

Erika Van Pelt - Not a bad job actually but tried to hard on certain parts. Great song choice though.

Skylar Laine - Man this girl is the most rockinness country girl I have ever seen lol. Very good job tonight and she is very consistent.

Joshua Ledet - I actually liked him tonight and even though it was a bit over the top like he does, I think this was the right song choice and he balanced it better tonight. The judges over did it with all the comments though. It was not the best performance ever on Idol.

Hollie Cavanagh - Another very good performance but it wasnt perfect. Big song to sing though.

I agree with you on the bottom 3 but I think Shannon has fan support so I don't think she will be going home this week.

It is hard to pick a bottom 3 because most of the performances were pretty good last night. I will say this though and I know CZAR will disagree with me, but whatever. I don't care. Heejun deserves to go home. He definately had the weakest performance last night and I never really liked him from the start. He needs to go.

The reason I added that she must already have fan support is because she really had the weakest performance last week and wasn't even in jeopardy, if I'm remembering correctly. That pretty much told me she might already have a fan base. In any manner, I guess we'll see tonight.

Personally, I didn't really care for any of the song choices last night. Good performances and all but the songs themselves were... meh. Don't think I fully listened to a single person the whole way thru and didn't even bother voting for anyone. This is why I really wanted someone like Reed Grimm to stick around. Wasn't the best singer but was always entertaining. Someone that will do more than just stand on stage and sing. Bring in some pyro or dancers or some well known musician... or are they not allowed to do that until further into the competition?

Told u guys Shannon was a goner! She was clearly the weakest link and lasted a week longer than she should have. I knew the judges werent gonna save her butt either. I was upset that Elise was in the bottom though. Then again the only subpar performances were really Shannon & Heejun so there had to be a 3rd person anyway.

Heejun seems to have a pretty big fan base so it my tough to get rid of him but he is my favorite to go next week if he doesnt step it up. How do u Deandre haters feel right about now? Haha. Got Em!!

I too can't figure out why Elise keeps ending up in the bottom. It is a shame but I guess she just doesn't have the fans yet. I seriously hope that changes cuz I really like her raspy voice.

And yeah, DeAndre must have a fan base and he deserves it. I just wish Ryan would stop messin with the brother and just let him know right away that he is in.

Yeah, I was pretty ticked off that Shannon was eliminated. I liked her too. She was a lot better than Heejun. He should've been the one to go this week. America got it wrong.

The bottom 3 were Shannon, Erika and Elise. They sent Elise to safety first, so it was down to Shannon and Erika. They sent Erika to safety. Shannon sang for her life, but the judges didn't use the save, so Shannon got eliminated.

Shannon may have had a fan base but when u sing like shit u start to lose your fans and thats probably what happened to Shannon. She was the weakest link. Got Em!!

I think you guys are forgetting it's not "America" that gets the votes wrong... it's all those teen girls who vote hundreds of times for the guys just because they think the guys are good looking and will vote for them regardless of talent. Deandre, Joshua and Heejun should of all gone before Shannon. I think all the women, including Shannon, are really good singers even if I don't care for all of their song choices or style. The only guys worth anything are Colton and Phillip.

Come to think of it, since all the women are so good maybe the "America", minus the teen girls, just don't know which to vote for since there really isn't a clear stand out so early in the competition. You give it another couple of weeks and the guys will drop like flies when America is forced to vote for the remaining girls and overpowering the teen vote.

For the first time in a number of years, I'm not rooting for anyone, and I'm fast forwarding far more than usual. I'm a bit annoyed that performance shows will clock in at 2hrs for the whole season. I imagine this will provide far more filler than performance.

I agree with u about the teen votes. They do need to put a cap on the number of votes allowed. Thats the only reason Scotty won last year in my opinion because he wasnt close to being the best singer.

With that said it still doesnt take away from all the guy singers that are actually very good. James was damn good last year and he only finished in 4th and shouldve made the finale. I fully disagree with u about all those guy deserving to leave before Shannon. She flat out was the weakest left and it didnt help that she tried to sing huge songs from big artist that she couldnt handle. I think most of yall are just biased to the girls because there hasnt been a female winner in a while. Atleast a female has made the finale for the most part so they do have a chance. There are a lot of things that factor in here, I just watch and point out what I think and so far so good. Got Em!!
