No Avengers cases out but the guy was able to find it in the system with the SKU and found the box of them in the back. Pirates is from Target so it has the bonus disc.

School of Rock is for sure one of my favorite movies ever. Forgot it came out today and will definitely be going to get it sometime this week.

Two reasons.

1)I was at $99.97 and wanted the $25 gift card.
2)The trade in value was $8 more then the selling price.

Sure seemed like a nobrainer to me.

Still pissed I can't find that Avengers steelbook. Best Buy's knowledge of their own product is immensely small.

went and picked up my avengers pre-order case they were holding for me.

after i picked it up from cs, i went over the bd section to look around and make some mental notes for my birthday/christmas list.

a bby employee came up to me and asked if i needed any help finding anything. i told him no thanks, i was just looking. i told him i was mainly there to just pick up the avengers case they were holding for me at cs and proceeded to tell him my story from yesterday.

he told me thanks for the compliments for his store and apologized for my experience from the other two stores (imo, THAT'S a great employee; one who apologizes for something he has NO control over whatsoever).

after a bit i got to speak with his manager (extremely nice guy) and i told him that same story. he gave me the same response and we stood and talked for about 15 minutes.

after that i actually got to speak with the district manager (also a great guy and very easy to talk to). he told me he'd look into the other store and thanked me for bringing to his attention. i assured him i'd keep coming to this particular location and that i didn't mind driving 32 miles one way and actually past another best buy.
he thanked me again and assured me he would speak with the management staff at the other location.

and while i was talking to the first young man, another employee came up and i chatted with him as well. directly after i spoke with the store manager, i went over to the gaming section and he was showing me some stuff that they got in for new game releases like masks, props and things of that nature. he then showed me this statue (pic below) from the lord of the rings: war in the north video game.
he told me that they've had that since the game's been out and no one has ever wanted it. i told him if i'd known you could get that with the game then i'd definitely have bought the game (being the collector i am, i wouldn't have passed that up).
he told me he'd let me have but he needed to ask the manager just to make sure. the manager said he didn't mind so he just GAVE it to me.....free!

THIS is why i love shopping at this particular location. they actually treat you like a person and not just anther dumb shopper taking up their time when they could be in the back goofing off.
and this is why they will continue to get my business.

Lots of people picking up the (rather awesome looking) Terminator Anthology - what's it like on the inside? A big digipak?
