Don't know if this is happening anywhere near you guys yet but my BB is going under renovations. They have now regulated just a small corner to blu-rays and games. I mean literally a small corner. They have devoted half the store to TVs, middle section is now all smart watches and other items, one half is all home appliances and back row is still PC. If anyone remembers how the last renovated FS looked like, it is very similar.

Now I don't know if all stores would follow the same outline or floor plan but I wouldn't bet against it. This just means I won't be visiting BB anymore for my blu-ray shopping. Hello HMV and Amazon.

No, this just leads to more online shopping and no more random trips to browse. I'll just be hopping onto amazon.CA and buy what I want. This might cut down on my blind buys.

Thanks for the replies. I'll open it and check it out then. Not too worried about it being scratched was more worried about the thing that holds it in place being damaged as the discs would never sit properly.

Yes, I saw three copies in stock last time I went. As I said, weird as when they were on sale there were none to be found in store.

But that is not really different from Best Buy Canada as you can also shop online for them.

I guess I have already moved from the browsing in-store to browsing online. I rarely go into my BB. I probably stopped visiting B&M stores about the time Future Shop closed up.

I have just had my first ever item from BB where it says 'box delivered to community mailbox', but I never got it. The BB CS Rep just told me to contact Canada Post.

give it some time a lot of times if the driver is lazy he justs scans all his packages delivered well he loads the truck rather then as he drops them off. might show up with in a day or two. if u don't get it within 5 working days of when it said delivered then call bb back and tell them to open a trace with Canada post. u should then either get ur package or your money back within a week or so then its upto u weather or not u re order it or not.

I went into a BB the other day that stocked this particular steelbook of the newer Evil Dead (here). I picked one up and gave a wee shake only to hear the disc and/or something else rattling around. I checked the others too and they all did the same. I could have brought someone over to open them but I couldn't be bothered. I'm not much of a fan for the remake but dang, that cover is freaky looking.

It says arrived Dec 4th. It was actually 2 Steelbooks and another movie from their BF/CM sale, so they would be in their small mailing box...
