#7 of 53. Pinocchio.

To everyone who has sent me your e-mail address to join the mailing list:
I will send out the first e-mail sometime within the next day or two and it will include the seven covers made up until this point. After that initial e-mail, I will send the rest to you as they are finished. I can't guarantee how quickly they will come, this first batch was worked on over the past couple of months and I finally had the time to put the finishing touches on them. I've only got a couple more started and the rest will be starting from scratch, so it could take a little longer between them.

Here are a few photos of them finished and on the shelf!

Since you are dictating the art, it's probable that you will have to commission the work which will cost some $$$s. Usually when people jump on this thread with specific requests that's the route they have to go. Me personally I only work on customs for myself.

Fantastic news for those who prefer to use Photoshop over Illustrator.

I created the credits for "Shout at the Devil" in Illustrator and hit Export to create it as a Photoshop PSD file. Make sure you check to retain ability to edit the text and when you open the resulting PSD file the Character Styles have been preserved from Illustrator.

I haven't tried it yet but this should allow people to load those Character styles from this PSD document into any Photoshop PSD document.

Of course you'll still need to have Illustrator to do the initial heavy lifting but if I get the time I'll create a PSD file for people to download from EuphoricFX.org

As someone who can't get their copy of I9 to run on their Windows 7 laptop, I may definitely be interested in the results of this. I've had to cheat or modify things a couple of times using Universal Accreditation.

Wouldn't the release of The World's End (final part of Wright's "Cornetto Trilogy") hamper this idea a little?

You bring up a great point. I'd be down with a Cornetto Trilogy version instead if anyone is interested in tackling this. I'd just leave an open space for when the The World's End releases...

I have uploaded the PSD file to EuphoricFX.org...Inside their Forums navigate to the thread "Create Your Own Credit Blocks From Any Font" and on the second page of the thread is a rar file containing the Photoshop PSD.

For the peeps that preferred the front cover without the text. PM me if you want a copy. The version I uploaded here has reduced resolution to keep the file size smaller.

Cheers!

Yep, I have used elements of all three for my custom cover. It looks like you had the same scans I did as well judging by where the fold marks are

The PSD file is over at EuphoricFX.org

One thing I learned last night is that with these Character Styles you are not restricted to any one font. You can use any font that you want to create credit blocks.

The tutorial uses Univers 39 Ultra Thin Condensed, but last night I dummied up credits in Futura Condensed and ctaulbee used Stratum No1 font for the credits on a cover.
