The Empire Reboots?

Journalists have no freaking idea what reboot means. Same thing happened when there was talk of recasting Indiana Jones. "Reboot" means "new movie" nowadays.

They meant about the Empire being destroyed in Jedi and now rising again in Awakens, all rebranded with new logo, and new Sith as product ambassador. Or I just didn't see where you being sarcastic.

It's official now. I think I'm spoiled, now I realized a lot of rumors I read are true. But as with every new Star Wars episode, I knew I will enjoy it nonetheless.

so he IS the red lightsaber wielding Sith from the trailer and posters? I think the picture above is the first we've seen without the mask.

I like it. Adam Driver is an absolutely insanely talented actor, one of those few who I'd watch in pretty much anything.

The judge is still out on who exactly Kylo Ren is and how he's related to the overall plot of the new trilogy. I've also heard he's not actually a Sith per se, but someone very attracted/influenced by the dark side of the Force. Hence his collection of Sith relics and the shoddy looking lightsaber he's carrying: it looks like something he built himself without any instructions/teachings in how to actually make one.

The true villain (and a true Sith), is speculated to be Andy Serkis' character, 'Uber'. The film makers are keeping this character as far away from public scrutiny as possible right now. We are only aware of his existence in the film from spoilers and his voice narrating the first teaser.

All the images so far show they're trying very hard to have the look of the original trilogy. Even the planets are the same, desert, snow, just different names. Of the vast galaxy it'll only serve the story to have new exotic alien environments but instead all look familar, at least as of now. I'm worried JJ Abrams trying to play safe, I hope it won't be 2 hours of fan service. I'm sure we'll get good script, directing and acting, but I'm also still trying to be positive that we'll get balanced presentation of old and new, that they'll be bold and take risk.
