Speaking of Kill or be Killed and similarly-themed late 70's early 80's action flicks, there're two that I'd like to have on blu-ray: Jaguar Lives! (1979) with Joe Lewis (remastered 1.85:1 version) and The Retrievers (1982).

The former has had a German release by the "world's best" label , but reviews reported that it's an upscale in 1.33:1.

Mostly looking forward to Double Nickels, really like those 70's car chase movies lol. I'm assuming that the double feature, Between the Covers, is another foreign 'sex comedy' of some sort? Hmmm... those can be hit or miss.

Hard Rock Nightmare? Now this one should be interesting.... seems on the same level as Rock ‘N’ Roll Nightmare

Rock N Roll Nightmare is much, much better on most levels but Hard Rock Nightmare might be the more sane film for better or worse. Hard Rock Nightmare is fun but a bit easy to forget, Rock N Roll Nightmare is so "out there" that it's impossible to forget. Either way, I had a fun with Hard Rock Nightmare and would recommend it pretty easily.

Hard Rock Nightmare is definitely an entertaining watch and never looked better as we we have the original 35mm camera negative. Especially if you are a fan of 80's horror movies. The glow in the dark slipcover is also quite awesome looking if you are into displaying your collection. It's Limited Edition as well so once these custom slips are gone they have yet to return.

Gave Hard Rock Nightmare a spin last night and had a good time with it. Pure 80's vibe going on. Very watchable, entertaining and the script is rock solid. Cast is sufficient, albeit some come across as fresh out of acting school.

If anything, it's fairly vanilla for a horror film as it needs more boobs and blood. Which probably could have catapulted it to true cult classic status. The 80's 'hard' rock soundtrack kicks ass.

Great transfer & audio.... Solid release from the DarkForces. Buy with confidence.

I only noticed one...and it was so quick I questioned if I actually saw anything. Had to play it back frame by frame to verify it.
