ot: wondering if i should chat a manager at work to see if i'm needed today. it's really slow this week, and i've only worked one day, so far. i could use the hours, but with how slow it is, there's a good chance i'd get sent home early. and if i do, then i used gas for no reason. and i'd much rather save the gas since i won't have any money until late next week.

My mother tried changing her online banking password today.

It consisted of her initials followed by the number of her current house address and her birthday.

Seriously, how many times do I have to have this conversation with her? I can understand explaining this once or twice but should I have to do this every week?

The NEXT time this happens, I'll tell her to just put all of her money in a paper bag and leave it on the front step.

I actually said it as an inside joke between Biz and I. I had told him how on our date, she had said how she's had a few patients go to her to have their penises examined and how she wasn't sure if they were legitimately concerned or not

Fortunately, she botched up the process by forgetting her old password...so the account is locked. She is completely unable to organize her passwords despite clear instructions and demonstrations from me.

She kept trying to enter her "old" password but, since she got it wrong multiple times, the bank locked the account until she contacts them in person. I don't want to sound mean...but maybe this will finally teach her the lesson about passwords that she won't learn from me.

I haven't got any of mine memorized, I have them written down, and I do not have "password" written anywhere on the paper.

It's just one of a bunch of stuff I have written on it so as not to make any sense to anyone but me.

Maybe she could try something like that?

I use a post-it note attached to my computer monitor with all my passwords on it, clearly labeled with what website they go to. I thought everyone did that?
