How does PM work for online only items? I'm planning to buy a video card but they only offer it online and from a different distributor. Is it possible to PM this item to NCIX? Can I PM an item they sell themselves but online only?

Their standard Lowest Price Guarantee policy should still apply. You just have to purchase the item online first then request a price beat credit (step 3b in following link)

From my experience, they tend to just give you the runaround and make stupid excuses to not honour it. In my case, I just brought my receipts to a store and they credited me right there. Keep in mind the training among BB staff is quite inconsistent.

Wow, that's a really weak promo...

I used to take advantage of Future Shop's buy 3 get 30% off each game deal, but last year Amazon was the one who had the best pre-order deals (same 30% off).

I don't know if that will change considering that Amazon.com now offers 20% discounts to all their pre-orders for their prime members. Would be nice to have something similar over here... considering our games are $10+ more.

Technically, they're giving the purchaser the equivalent of $25 in Rewards Zone points, which a better deal than 30% off, if one shops at Best Buy at a future date, which will happen anyways.

True if the title is less than 79.99.

RZ Points

$79.99 * 1.13 (tax in Ontario) = $90.40 (rounded up)
$90.40 - $25 = $65.40

vs.

30% off

$79.99 * 0.7 = $56.00 (rounded up)
$56 * 1.13 (tax in Ontario) = $63.30 (rounded up)

Two bucks isn't a heck of a deal, but it's two bucks I can spend wherever I want though.

I was at the North Store yesterday. There is no stand set up, but there are a few titles scrambled around the store. I found copies of Lucy and As Above, So Below. There is no mention of the promo at all.

Nothing for the GC Promo mentioned at the DFM BB in Calgary either. Although it seemed like one section in the normal row had most of the titles mentioned. Picked-up "As Above So Below" (which was pretty decent actually).

Hadn't been to that location in a few months, but it's a truly pitiful media selection now. Couldn't even find 1 of the 2 copies of "The Revenant" that are supposed to be somewhere in the store.

Most of my purchases at Best Buy tend to be online at this point as their in store stock on media is lackluster (especially Steelbooks).

You still can't use Reward Zone points online.

So they wouldn't process it for you as a promo? I am sure they could call the South Store and do that. I am going to go down there tomorrow, and have them do that for me hopefully.

This should be a nationwide promo, very misleading if you ask me.

I think waiting would be the best option, considering all the Bond films were 7.99 around the time Spectre was released. It's a guarantee they will all hit that price again in the foreseeable future.

Assuming the steelbook is still available. The steelbook is already sold out in all stores in my city. I went ahead and got it for $14 online. Still cheaper than the regular version.
