Spielberg doesn't do commentaries. But at least he'll discuss his films in interviews, so it's not like the guy's a hermit like Terrence Malick or Woody Allen.

Great news that Minority Report is coming out on Blu-ray. One of the best films of 2002. Now bring on Jaws and the Indy Trilogy.

Nice to see that it is coming out so maybe the door will break wide open soon for more Spielberg films. Not sure if I love this film enough to upgrade...will have to think this over awhile.

There's no chance this will be region free due to Fox having European distribution rights. Shame.

Maybe War of the Worlds is a european region coded exclusive to counter it?

4k is just the resolution the film is archived in. basically 2K (2048×1080) or 4K (4096×2160) resolution. Obviously our current HD tvs cannot display 2160P, but having a source in 4K during the encoding process really makes for an outstanding transfer. In the majority of cases will result in a reference quality video transfer.

I love Minority Report...I will buy this day one.

Im sure when 4K TV's become a reality within the next decade or so, this "4K master transfer" will become much more relevant. Consider it the first 4K movie way ahead of it's time; yet another indication of 4K plans.

In my opinion one of the most underrated Spielberg films. Sensational story, part thriller, part action, this movie has it all. One of my favorites by Spielberg and probably the one I'm most eager to own on BD.
