Nice, really enjoyed it. Went in with no expectations and came out very pleased. They should package in Angry Birds

Cool. Hope this means we'll be able to pre-order Scream 4 soon as well.

Can't wait to get this one! Really funny and colorful. I walked in knowing little about this film, and ended up loving it. Pedro (the red bird), was my favorite; probably cause he was played by will.i.am. Although, I'll probably pass on this blu-ray until it's like $12.99-$14.99 like the Dreamworks movies were a couple of weeks ago.

USA żRio Espańol?

I'm still waiting to see if Rio will have a decent spanish soundtrack. One week to go and no audio specs yet? Plus, the price will have to come down*just*a*tad.

It was a very hollow movie for me. Plenty of color, movement, and quick songs along the way, but the characters and plot were very one-sided and predictable.

I hope we get a 4K release for this movie. Maybe next year for 10th anniversary.

The digital copy of this movie looks like a pain to redeem, says to put the disc into hard drive first and transfer. Hopefully the next release just give us a digital code we can enter and redeem.

If Fox hadn't been bought by Disney, I'd say maybe eventually... but now that it's Disney, I'd say maybe not. They could surprise us, but unless they decide to keep releasing animation on 4K and then decide to also expand the 4K to non-native 20th Century Mouse, then probably not.

There also was 2 re-releases with "digital hd" instead of "digital copy", which should be codes instead of discs: the normal re-release in 2014 and both versions of the "Family Icons" faceplate Best Buy exclusive.

If they do another under Disney, it will definitely be a MA-based code.

Maybe if a Rio 3 gets released the previous films will get 4K treatment. I hope they do, Rio would look amazing in 4K.

Watched this on my 65inch OLED the other day, and noticed motion artifacts in fast movements that are a bit distracting. Has anyone else noticed it?
I didn't see it back then on my 50 inch Kuro, but now, at my viewing distance (see my sig) it is very obvious, which is a bummer, as this movie is so pretty and colourful.

Did anyone notice they added a 4k to the first movie on Vudu? Rio 2 and its sing along version doesn't have a 4k, but the first movie does according to Vudu. Does anyone know when this happened? Can someone confirm if its not an error?

The used to require the disc to be in the drive but it looks like you can now redeem those straight to iTunes. (As an SD only copy though)

When I select “Live Extras” on my PS3, it just plays trailers and goes back to the menu. I’m allowing my PS3 to connect to the internet. Is the service just down?
