Not always, I got both series 5 and 6 for $20 each from Best Buy last year right before Christmas, and I got the David Tennant Specials from BBC America for $30 not too long ago, so basically you have to keep an eye out on the prices, even series 1-4 DVD sets can go on sale from time to time if you plan on owning the entire reboot collection

As mentioned, Best Buy ran a really good BBC promo around the holidays when Seasons 5 & 6 were $20 each. Barnes & Noble typically runs a 50% off British TV sale twice a year and you can typically stack coupons to get them around $30 each.

Is being slowed down a good or bad thing? Is it a big improvement over the original release? And why wasn't the 5th series re-released in the same way? Just curious about this since I don't remember reading about this getting released. Now I see it on Best Buy too: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/doctor-w...&skuId=4058006

Now Wallace and Gromit (since the 2004 DreamWorks DVD), have received new NTSC/24fps masters, but the audio was not corrected, resulting in a lower pitch. Now, I don't mind PAL material being slowed down/fully transferred to NTSC so long as the original pitch is correct. Last edited by Nailwraps; 08-31-2014 at 06:42 AM. |

appreciate i'm resurrecting an old thread here, but does anybody have any information on the disc replacement programme for the complete sixth series set? i read about it existing over on the recent s1-4 blu-ray thread but have no details on the error! might be wasting my time like, i'm not sure if they'd provide a replacement disc so many years later
