I believe he was just saying that, hypothetically, it shouldn't make a difference on how fast you order. I disagree, because for some people it may be a difficult decision between the various versions. Knowing how many are left would help give you a shove to make up your mind. I knew which version I wanted immediately, but obviously not everyone did as there has been much discussion about which edition(s) people are going to buy. Plus, if there are lots of copies remaining, in the meantime the price may drop somewhere else like Amazon (I know the ltd edition is exclusively through Arrow, but the ZFE steelbook, for instance), and then that would make the decision easier.

I wish this was coming out sooner than the end of November... I might not end up getting it until after New Year due to the holiday shipping slowdown

Great points, but I emphasize that I used the word "should", not "would". Too many people on the internet base their decisions on the community decision. "If every one is buying the limited edition, then I should too". "If no one wants to pay the higher price, then I shouldn't either".

Limited editions are for the biggest of fans and the most anal collector - if one is neither, the choice should be easy. Your, and my, immediate decision on the matter tells us both who we are.

Went ahead and placed an order for the Limited Edition. As much as I love steelbooks, all the Arrows I've gotten have been the LEs and I'm not looking to change that up...

^ Don't worry about it, they know which one you ordered. Also if you have been charged 17.99, you'll get the Ltd Edition.

+1 Yes. And many of us have emailed CS and they have personally confirmed that our orders were received correctly.

I've read that this title is "Region 0 PAL". My player is Region A NTSC I believe. Would you advise me to not buy this Blu-Ray? If so, why? Will it not play on my player? Will it play, but not properly? What?

It's probably the DVD. The Blu-ray will be fine.

If the extras are in PAL format, you won't be able to play them with your NTSC player.

It appears this still hasn't sold out yet.. for only 500 copies, you'd think it they would have disappeared quite quickly..

That's assuming their site is even working properly. With the previous problems it wouldn't surprise me if they sell more than they have got and then have to refund disappointed people later.

I have been living under a rock and just noticed the Limited 500 Edition. I just placed my pre-order thru Arrow. So I assume they still have copies left.

I also kind of like that Pay Now method. I hate trying to remember pre-order especially during this busy season of releases. Nice to have it paid for and then I'm done.

Just a heads up that the steelbook version is currently £14.00 on Amazon. Not sure how long this will last so get your orders in quick!

The regular blu edition is £11 on HMV. I'd get the limited edition if it was cheaper. I don't trust Arrow enough to give them £18 they botch things too much in one way or the other.

Argh. Steelbook or LE? Is there anything online to suggest the Steel will include the poster in the same way Demons/ Demons 2 didn't? I love the all-over orangey artwork but think I prefer the general presentation of the slipboxes.
