Something tells me that artwork wouldn't be the front cover in the shops

Despite having purchased the Blue Underground 2-disc edition, I do enjoy Arrow's compact box sets, so I might have to get this just for whatever swag it comes with.

Caligula had a more explicit cover

As I said before the Great Crash of '12, can't wait to see what Arrow does with this classic. Can't imagine them having better special features than the 'Zombi 2' DVD though.

Guess I'm more in the "American mindset" of covers

Perhaps if they snagged interviews with, you know, ANY of the female cast members, that would be one thing Blue Underground didn't have Tisa Farrow, Auretta Gay, Olga Karlatos, etc.

It would be nice to have some information on the shark attack sequence. My Shriek Show special edition dvd had nothing about it.

Update from Alan Jones: "ZOMBIE FLESHEATERS DVD commentary went well. Non-stop info and fun anecdotes. Enjoyed talking it through with Steve Thrower a lot."

Yeah I have always wondered about that too, some of the scenes looked like a fake shark, but there is a scene where a live shark is going after the zombie.

I assume no-one wants to talk about it because animal cruelty is a taboo subject. According to a friend, the shark did have some teeth pulled out and claims that you can see that the animal has quite a number of missing teeth. To be honest, I have never noticed. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the shark was heavily tranquillised and also didn't survive the shoot.

Hmm...which version to get, the Blue Underground or Arrow release...decisions, decisions, decisions. If they do a box like Battle Royale or a Steelbook like Demons 1 & 2, I might bite on the UK release.

This is going to be a great release, I think it'll top BU's disc (no small feat).

I guess there's a high chance of this getting a steelbook edition (which I would love).

Will definetly pick this up...as for a possible steelbook version...I'm not fussed, never been a fan of them. Most people just buy them so they can sell them on in the future.

Day 1 for me. I love me some Arrow. This better be a Limited Edition slipcover with swag too. I don't need no steelbook or big box just classic arrow slipcover with 4 awesome covers. And that artwork is no worse than some of the stuff Shameless puts out lol, just slap a "UNCUT" sticker over the plastic where the the boobs are and it's all good

Hmmm.. I find that hard to picture, pulling teeth out of a live shark, then putting it back in the water again. Can't say I ever really looked at the sharks mouth in detail.. I will check next time I watch it.

Arrow linked to a piece on Twitter from Fangoria.

The documentary they have planned sounds interesting.

This. Not another steelbook please, just the Arrow treatment we all fell in love with. I don't buy any of the steelbooks or grey dual format releases.

Love that artwork by the way, nothing wrong with some nudity.

Just found this on Arrow's Facebook page.

The fourth one from the left looks very much like a SteelBook for ZFL; I think it's safe to say that the last two are the Dual Format and Limited Editions of the movie.

It looks like Arrow will be using the artwork from the Death Waltz Recording soundtrack for their Blu-ray release. Graham Humphries is the artist.
