I did yard work/pool cleaning for my parents and several neighbors an entire summer. Got paid about $100/month between the five houses I took care off, it was actually a pretty good gig, did it until I went to High School.

To anyone who has the UK set, are the films cut in any way? Those Brits love to censor everything. With it being region-free, I don't see why anybody would want a U.S. version that has a missing disc, especially if the import is cheaper.
On a side note, this is the second box set that gets released in the UK a year or more before the U.S. (the first being the LETHAL WEAPON collection). Pardon me, but why is that?? |

Actually, that is not entirely true. Yes, they are the R rated versions available pretty much everywhere and are the versions that most people are familiar with, but there actually are unrated versions of 3 of the films. There are unrated versions of parts 1, 4 and 5. You can read about the comparisons between each film by clicking the links below:
A Nightmare On Elm Street A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child The unrated versions are NOT on the UK set. The films available on the UK set are the R-rated versions that are available in the US. |

If it does get released, you'll probably get your order. I pre-ordered Blade when it was first announced and it disappeared from Amazon, but my order still shipped and arrived on release date. If this was just an error, then you won't. Difference with these two releases was that Blade actually had a press release, and was able to be ordered from other stores. I think only Amazon and Amazon.ca are accepting pre-orders for the Nightmare collection.

If the set doesn't come with any extras, I was thinking of picking up the first ANOES disc that has the Never Sleep Again documentary, especially if it's one movie per disc. I could replace it maybe.
Is the 50 minute 1080i Never Sleep Again documentary on the first ANOES blu taken from parts of the 4 hour stand alone documentary on DVD? 1080i documentary vs 480p 4 hour documentary as a companion to the series complete set? Any opinions? |

All versions of the collection released worldwide are completely identical as far as blu-ray content. The first disc is the exact same as the ANOES standalone disc and the second is the exact same as the 2&3 double feature disc released separately here in the US. I'm sure if and when this collection finally gets released here, the BD content will be the same as well. |

I've bought all the other releases too, which sucks cause I'd rather have this. But I think I only paid maybe 20 bucks for the first movie and 2/3. I never knew about the uk boxed set or I would have bought it last year when the 2/3 combo came out....damnit...
