When I was ready for the free trial. I clicked on it and it said this

I remember MoviePass a few years back but didn't pay too much attention to it but now at $9.99 per month, it now has my full attention. This is something I have to really look into.

If anyone here has MoviePass, any tips or anything I should know before signing up?

I don't understand why the theaters would be opposed to this. From what I can tell Movie Pass just pays for your whole ticket with the debit card you get issued. Someone going to see a movie everyday is going to generate a lot of revenue for the theaters while taking all the profits from Movie Pass. Am I missing something?

Seems I just screwed myself on the movie pass thing. Seems you need a android or iPhone to sign in. I don't have either.

Can I contact them to get my money back or am I totally SOL?

Just saw an article on Variety about the pros and cons of it and it says this:

Drawback: Must buy onsite.

Were you one of those people who bought “Force Awakens” tickets weeks in advance? That’s not really an option with MoviePass. To select a showtime, you have to check in on the app, which only works within 100 yards of the location. That makes it tough to buy ahead of time, so that midnight premiere might have to come out of pocket.

So I guess you have to be at the theater to buy? Not really sure.

I'd imagine most of the major theater chains will quickly follow suit. By the time people start receiving their cards, there may not be any theaters left that will accept MoviePass. Glad I decided to skip it, it's not worth the potential grief for a few dollars saved per month.
