Better start searching if you really want one, gents. Even when you can find one for sale, the prices are continuing to go up.

Ordered it last night, checked the Scorpion Releasing site before going to bed to see if it had gone up for order and there it was. Came to Blu-ray.com to post that it was up and saw that plenty of members had already announced it.

$34.95....ouch. Given all of my spending this month, I had to think about it at that price, but bit anyway.....the power of 80s nostalgia is strong with me (along with a late night Christmas buzz from the family party). Did the price go up? I wasn't aware of Scorpion Releasing when it first came out, so not sure how much it sold for originally. Only 9 left as of this afternoon.

This is an excellent release and an excellent movie. Anyone who's on the fence should buy it while it's still reasonably priced.

Just checked out the Big Cartel site and I noticed it's already gone. Is it sold out already? I'm in Canada, so I can't even order until shipping here gets reinstated in a couple of weeks.

I also just checked and noticed its gone @ Big Cartel. My guess would be its sold out completely but until an official announcement is made theres still hope.

You know, I understand the business model and have defended limited releases before but this is getting ridiculous. If half the blu releases im going to be interested in are niche releases that are annoying to buy in just going to say forget it.

Best of luck to Scorpion but I have better uses of my time and money than tracking down some movies I'll watch two more times in my life tops. The DVDs will have to do.

The thing is house on sorority row wasn't originally going to be limited but from what I understand it sold so poorly that there is no reason to print up more. This title was available on Amazon (along with other scorpion titles) and just didn't sell a lot. I agree that it doesn't make good business sense to print more if the demand just isn't there.

How can you say it sold poorly when it sold out fairly quickly?

Any chance of second runs of these flicks?
