The House on Sorority Row (1983) from Scorpion Releasing - Blu-ray Forum

On April 22nd, in conjunction with Camelot Entertainment, we will finally release on Blu. We have corrected the pre-credit sequence to the preference of director Mark Rosman (the original pre-credit sequence will be an extra on the Blu), and all the extras will carry over from the SD release (except for one, the Nightmare Theater mode, due to contract stipulation). MSRP is $29.95. This is the first of our catalog titles to be released on Blu, and based on how well this does, we will determine if we should release BluRay editions of some of our other previously released titles.

Of course. I just recently bought Final Exam and House On Sorority Row and now they are coming out on Blu. I will wait to see the reviews before I decide if I want to upgrade since both releases were pretty solid.

Got the DVD, will be upgrading. With this one out, the list of top slashers not yet on blu is one movie shorter. The final chase was always one of my favourite aspects of the genre, btw., and The House on Sorority Row has one of the best (that moment when the final girl makes eye contact with the killer from the balcony still gives me chills).

An ex-girlfriend of mine a few years back found a SEALED copy of Fright Night II on DVD at a thrift shop for a dollar or two. She called me all excited about it because she loved Fright Night and I told her how rare it was and that she should sell it for an insane profit. I ended up selling it for her for $100 on Amazon.

I'm definitely buying this one as soon as it comes out. I love Scorpion and they do quality products, I'm confident it will follow that. I'm just happy I can safely sell my dvd considering it's caring over all of the important special features. That being said, as much as I like the movie I've always hated the poster. It's so cheesy and it almost looks like the cover of a porn movie or something. It really doesn't capture the tone of the movie at all.

This is a great movie and I'll be buying. I be always loved that cover. It might be my favorite cover art of all time.

This was filmed at a friends house who also ran the video crew, and I have memories of being there for some of the filming. I haven't seen it since the premier in '83.
