The same fate I fear for Prophecy '79, Blood Beach '80, April Fool's Day '86 and The Hitcher '86.

April Fools Day has a very good looking Digital HD edition available right now on Amazon Video. The Hitcher was just released overseas and also looks great (which to me means a US release is possible in the near future). These films aren't lost to time they're just stuck in the vaults for the moment. I still believe that at some point we'll get Blu Rays of both and possibly the others you mentioned as well.

I'd gladly pony up for a collectors edition of April Fools Day. I remember, way back then, thinking it was a must-see due to its connections to a certain huge slasher franchise that I was hooked on (my username will tell you which one). And it did not disappoint. Enjoyable for multiple reasons.

This film is streaming on Vudu in HDX and in its correct aspect ratio, and it looks very good. It's definitely not lost.

Yeah, $45 for a blu ray? Pass. I just dropped $100 for the DotD 4K box set, but I hear Gaylen Ross is going to come to my place to cook dinner one night next month, so it was worth it. As much as I love Massacre, I'm not seeing anything in this to warrant that price.

I'm not gonna lie. It's kind of difficult to like this label... Always keep people waiting for over five or six years, and then they're playing tricks on people with expensive steelbooks, especially in these difficult times.
I'm actually waiting for a standalone release of Manchester Morgue as the steelbook is damn steep, and now this... Yeah, wonderful!
