Just ordered this set for $62 and some change from Family Video. Figured I'd better jump on this before they're all gone. Curious to see what goodies will be in volume 2.

Really hope this sells well enough for individual releases, cause I ain't payin' for the mess of Malatesta and a blind buy of faith for The Premonition.

The Witch Who Came from the Sea is very good. Not sure how many times I would watch it, only because it's very dark and disturbing. It's definitely not one for a pick-me-up type of viewing.

WITCH is beyond profound and I'm so glad its finally on BD

PREMONITION is a wonderful story.. fits in the the "carnival" theme that Thrower references!

I just watched The Premonition tonight on Amazon and I have a stupid question about the ending.

I feel like an idiot for asking, but I honestly couldn't tell.

I gotta say I'm kinda glad I didn't buy the set as I didn't really care much this or Carnival. Some cool visuals, but I didn't particularly enjoy either of them. I'll still check out Witch at some point though, and I'm excited to see what's in Volume 2.

Witch is BY FAR the best of the three, it's the only one that can really have a detailed case made for it being a quality movie. It deals very, very explicitly with things like lifelong damage from child molestation, though, so it sure isn't for everybody!! Premonition has a couple good scenes but is pretty weak, Malatesta's sure is interesting visually on some level, but mostly just reminded me of "Incredibly Strange Creatures that Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Teenage Zombies!?"

The UK edition is almost OOP but I just ordered it from Zavvi for £25!! Thats around $30 or so including shipping for people in the US. The cheapest its been I think? Hope I'll like it.

I just caved, and bought set off ebay. Set looks amazing and I'm really getting into older horror titles. Can't wait to start watching these.

I couldn't help it - DiabolikDVD had it on sale for 39 (and 10 Paypal bucks I had lying around), about 20 less than Amazon, Arrow Shop and other stores that still had it in stock. I was really only interested in the Witch, and only because I needed it for my Nasty collection. While I know nothing about Witch other than it made the non-prosecuted list, I know less than zero about the other two.

Finally watched all 3. Really dug Witch and Carnival. Premonition was solid but prob won't watch again.

In discussion with one of their producers at a major horror convention earlier this year, I was told that there had been some major behind-the-scenes challenges with one of the films to be included with the set which have since been resolved, and that we should be seeing a second volume this year. I'm guessing October would be prime time for this, and am keeping my fingers crossed.

Couldn't they replace the troubled film with something else and release the troubled one later? I don't know, I think they just weren't happy with how Vol. 1 sold and dragged their feet with the followup. I have the set and tbh I still haven't watched any of the films yet. I'll grab the second set depending on the lineup.

I'm expecting the second volume to be among October's announcements, but who knows at this point?
