Does anyone own this? Is the bonus disc anything special?

The bonus disc is crap. It's a DVD with some bland and dated bonus material for Ultimatum and Legacy only.

FYI: Amazon notified me that I had to approve a delayed delivery for this order, which I got when it was the Gold Box deal. Order page says that they do not have a delivery date estimate, but I thought it said that if it is not delivered by 9/16 (or scheduled to be delivered by then) that they would cancel the order.

Edit - Update: Amazon sent me an email after approving the delay. It is expected to arrive within ... get ready for it... 8-12 weeks! Wow!

They gave me a $5 credit. I waited this long to get any Bourne movies, so waiting longer doesn't really matter.

- Rip off the Dark Knight films for the background

- Cheesy "shattered" font that would be at home on a cheap '90s ultimate fighting VHS box

Sadly, us Yanks will never be able to complete with foreigners when it comes to cheesy ad art. Ours is mostly just bland.

Not sure I am alone in this but my Bourne collection consists of the first three Matt Damon films (as I look at it, the original trilogy), in one multi-disc Blu-ray case (bought it at Best Buy). These three films stand as one continuing story line. I have Legacy in its separate stand alone case. I liked Legacy but it stands on its own as a separate, only slightly connected, story. Although I will get Jason Bourne, it is my least favorite of the five films. Jason Bourne seemed more like an after-thought and didn't really connect to the original trilogy, standing (to me) as a separate story line. Had they brought back the Joan Allen and David Strathairn characters, I might have felt more of a connection to the original story line. Just my take on the whole Bourne thing.

So does anyone know anything about the 5 movie collection that's coming out? What it will look like what kind of packaging will they be the same discs etc etc? Debating on waiting to buy it or buy the steels iindividualy. Anyone heard anything?

Curious about the coming release as well. Will all the titles get a 4K master or is it just the same old discs for the standard blu-ray release?

I would guess 2 and up are the same masters (or digital intermediates at least), but yeah we're all waiting with eagerness to hear of the original film got a remaster for UHD, and whether that carries over to the included BD.

I have the classified collection and will put Jason bourne in it. For the others that are doing that are you just adding the ultimate collection to the database since it is the same thing? otherwise you have to add the classified collection and Jason bourne separately.

With the new Bond set I added it the day I got it and then added Spectre's solo release later, even though I put Spectre in the collection box. It really doesn't matter though, do it how you want it set up.

I'm looking to consolidate my individual releases I have for the series, but I am not a huge fan of the packaging style for this set because I think it can lead to scratches the more the discs are used 9taking them in and out of the cardboard sleeve). What would be the best region A/region free release for this set? Thanks!

I bought the Classified Steelbook today at Big Lots for 10 dollars. Somehow, I hadn't yet upgraded my DVDs of Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy.

I love The Bourne Identity and really like Supremecy and Ultimatum as well. I would buy these titles on 4K in a heartbeat but for the consensus reviews that say the transfers look horrible. What are the chances Universal will remaster them for future UHD release?

Once a studio releases a movie on UHD 4K, do they ever go back and release them again due to consumer complaints of poor quality? This is what movies like the Bourne trilogy and T2 deserve.
