I love Charlize Theron, and I will miss her as Furiosa, but I also have a faith in Anya Taylor-Joy and George Miller, too.
I think they can make something as good as Fury Road.

I agree, those two working together could really be something special. I know a lot of people didn't like the fact, that they decided to do a prequel, but I think once this is released people will be more than happy it was done. Rather it will be anywhere near as good as Fury Road, we'll have to wait and see.

I have a question about Thunderdome that always bugs me a bit:

Seconds before Aunty Entity and Savannah Nix would struggle and "fight" over Master, an Imperial Guard attempts to grab Master from the window of the Train-Truck, but Savannah hits him on the right side and then he disappears. Was that a knife stab? What do you HEAR?
Later, we see the Imperial Guard still lying on the floor of the structure, unconscious, so I guess he's dead.

Junkie XL Will Score Furiosa

Quote:
Few details have been revealed about the upcoming Fury Road prequel beyond Taylor-Joy’s casting. One new nugget of information was however just dropped by Fury Road composer Junkie XL, who says he’s coming back to do the music for the Furiosa film. Appearing on the Film Junkee Vodka Stream, Junkie XL was asked about his involvement in the Fury Road follow-up. “It’s coming,” he said. “George and I work together. So I’m actually currently working with him on a different movie before that movie is being made.”

I will probably enjoy this movie more if I pretend Fury Road doesn't exist. Because casting two adults almost in the same age group as the same character is dumb. I think I'd prefer Furiosa played by a young teenager. I could maybe buy the physical transformation then.

I remember Fury Road's main theme. Can't say the same for most modern movies.

I don't know why you're asking me. I said a young teenager. Maybe a girl of fifteen. She is 24. Theron was 39 in Fury Road. Only a fifteen year difference between adults, yet the characters look so different.

Furiosa Prequel Spans Many Years

Quote:
In a recent interview, Miller stated that the film's timeline will span several years.

"I didn't set out to make a big, epic movie. It's a story I wanted to tell. But as it turns out, it's just got a lot of different scenes. The one thing I can say about it is, Fury Road happened over three days and two nights, but this is a saga. It happens over many years. So there's a lot of different elements to it."

I believe he's wrapped on Three Thousand Years of Longing, which Junkie will also be scoring. Production on Furiosa begins in late June from what I've seen - soundstage work will be done at Fox Studios in Sydney, while location stuff will primarily be around Broken Hill (where Mad Max 2 was shot).

None of the movies connect to the other very well. As an example an actor in the second movie plays a different character in the 3rd movie.

The villain from the first movie plays a different villain in the fourth movie.

You won 6 of them? Well done! I just double checked and Mad Max definitely didn't win any Oscars.

Mad Max Fury Road on the other hand...
