Piss off. Hardy was the best thing about Fury Road and you know it.

I think Tom Hardy did a good job. Having said that, everyone has the right to their own view. Tom Hardy isn't everyone's cup of tea and that's fine by me.

I don't care. George Miller is directing a movie, one set in the Mad Max universe, so it's likely to be amazing.

Take Hardy out of that movie and replace him with any other actor who just mumbles his lines and the movie would have still been one of the best action movies ever made.

The strange thing to me about a Furiosa backstory movie is where it will leave off. Does it just end with her willingly working under the power structure of Immortan Joe? I would think not, so it's gotta end before she gets the the Citadel.

When Fury Road was announced, most people said it wasn't necessary. Or that it was a bad idea. I don't know what the movie is, but I have complete faith in George Miller. He's earned that from me.

He said at the time he had considered using de-aging technology in order to allow Theron — who’s 44 –to play the part again, but has decided against doing so. Taylor-Joy is 24.
Also, I'd rather see Mr T play a young Furiosa, than see a digitally de-aged Charlize Theron. Thank god George ultimately decided the same thing (minus the Mr T part)

Happy with the casting choices. One of my most-anticipated movies (Dune and Batman are there too). Glad it's moving along.

As excited as I am for this, I’ll won’t believe it’s actually happening until I see some completed footage of it, heck Fury Road had a number of false starts and production set backs, nevermind however long it seemed to sit in post-production.

For so long all we had to see from Fury Road was that one still on Hardy in costume. Even then it didn't seem real. This project sounds so Hollywood which is why I'm struggling to wrap my head around Miller's involvement and intentions.

I'm hoping he gets to Three Thousand Years of Longing first since I'm quite intrigued by that. But I'm sure this is next since the cast can secure budget fast and it's already a known IP.
Also happy that it's a prequel and not a sequel. I love Charlize in Fury Road but with everyone trying to shove her down people's throats as the great action heroine, is quite annoying. She's great in that film but dear god she doesn't have to be in ALL action movies with a female lead.
And thank god it's a prequel. Furiosa's story ended at Fury Road. I don't want more of that. How do you follow that film with the same characters? No thanks. Make an original follow up with Hardy as Max discovering a new setting.

Miller is a genius.

Have faith.

LMAO, why are Americans supposed to specifically relate with Immortan Joe anyway? Read the article, some weird assumption on there.
