I don't think there's anything wrong with you.

I'm mostly on her side. Part of the problem is there is no communication between the two of them. She doesn't even attempt to tell Peter about being fired. A simple exchange of him cutting her off would have benefitted the film. Also, the kiss with Harry wasn't necessary.just them bonding was good enough.

Watching the film now, I'm up to dancing Peter. I can't help but have a huge grin on my face the whole time. Even the extras in the scenes think he's a huge dork when he's dancing. I love how even the people in the world think he's weird. And the way he speaks. God I love it. He's such a dweeb.

That disconnect is set up pretty well in SM3. She tries to talk with him but he has the radio scanner on or talks about himself rather than listening to her. And when she does get a word in, his advice is garbage. He doesn't seem to care about her, which informs everything MJ does in the movie.

She has a... unique look, which they handled better in the original. All about makeup and lighting I think. She can be gorgeous or quite the opposite, depending on the movie.

And yeah I think that melancholy note at the end of Spidey 2 shows they knew where they were heading. She comes across as kind of high maintenance in the films, so with Peter focused on his success and ignoring her it makes sense they would have problems. However I like the ending of 3, they're going to work it out, because they love each other. I've been with the same person for 10 years almost and you definitely have to fight to stay together sometimes, that's what commitment is all about.

Im probably 5 years older than her so it was weird to see the differences in how she looked/aged in those three movies. I was watching Hidden Figures and it took me a few scenes to realize she was in the damn movie. My wife and I were shocked at how old she looked. We were both like "that old lady really plays the racist b***h well......wtf, is that Kirsten Dunst??"

For anyone who has this set, is the Extended Cut on the 4K disc?

OK, so watched the first movie on 4K finally.

Yikes, who cranked up the EE? It sort of ruins what looks like a nice source scan. It's like it was optimised for a 00s era HD downsample. Presumably it's exactly that, the one made for the "mastered in 4K" Blu-ray release with a HDR pass made.

Also the HDR is beyond torch mode and into flood-light mode.

The film though... first time seeing it since it first released, and it stands up well! Maybe better, it probably feels more like a Raimi movie now that it did then, maybe that's just my age now though in noticing the more subtler bits which are very much from the guy who made Evil Dead.

Apologies, but without trawling through loads of threads, is the 5.1 mix on the original trilogy discs OG audio?
