That's cool, I just want to import the normal release. The steelbook is very lovely, but its even better seeing new releases with the original poster art.

I remember sneaking into this when I was fourteen (it was an 18 on release I believe here in the UK?). I matured enough bum fluff on my chin, and practiced a suitably rough voice. I thought I was the Don, but in hindsight I don't think the lady at the till could have cared less.

I prefer the original art and a standard case, but for some reason the steelbook is currently cheaper. Doesn't matter much, since the disc in going in a multi-disc Viva case with the regular artwork from the BD release anyway.

Would those new sounding extras appear on the 4K disk, or do they suggest the standard blu will be re-mastered? The phrase "classic special features" has me worried SONY's going to blow off blu-ray, even for 'Troopers anniversary. Color this Citizen of the Federation massively disappointed.

And I know 3D's a dead format spinning...but this thumbing of the nose at blu-ray is especially maddening.

Those extras are for the CGI feature Traitor of Mars, not Starship Troopers.

We need this, RoboCop, and Total Recall and my US Verhoeven trilogy will be complete. The other two already have stellar 4K remasters so this should be a winner on UHD.

I would also love a UHD of his early film Soldier of Orange but as that's never received a Blu-ray release, this will have to remain in my dreams.
