Any release with regular English subs confirmed, or only English SDH/HOH?

Probably not. It's Lionsgate in the US and StudioCanal in the UK.
But Lionsgate could do something similar like how they did The Man Who Fell to Earth Blu-ray release. It wasn't quite as "Deluxe" as the UK set, but it was at least somewhat deluxe. |

UK steelbooks generally have ratings on the removable J-card, nothing at all on the steelbook itself.

Honestly I think the judgement on this set is pretty straight forward, the soundtrack CD's are the big extra so do you want them at that price or not?
I did always like that Goldsmith would often try and make a soundtrack classier than the film it was for(probably why a few were changed/rejected?) and Total Recall is probably the last big example of that. Last edited by moreorless; 09-05-2020 at 06:01 PM. |

Depends on what you get the most out of. For some people the actual box itself will be the major selling point of this edition, and maybe others the booklet and posters.

I just went with the regular edition. I like the steelbook art, but the fact that the title treatment slides off with the clear slip bugs me more than it probably should. The art feels 'naked' without it.
![]() I own the score digitally, so it's hard to even consider paying for it again on CD. I rarely ever listen to it much as is. Which makes me wonder: Who does listen to movie scores often enough to own them? It always seems like they're one of those cool things to own if you love the movie, but I never find myself getting much use out of them personally. |

Some releases like Flash Gordon you have a combination of reasons to buy the limited release, in this case it seems like the CD's are by far the biggest reason your paying a premium.

OK, pre-ordered the regular 4K from BB...not a big Ahnie fan, but this one I've always thought was fun.
Must support the classics coming out in the format for as long as we can get them... C. |

Anyone else not impressed with the restoration's look in the trailer? Also, truly heartbroken that the b-roll from this movie is lost forever!
