will amazon uk make this availale for international shipping closer to release? there's really no good price I'm seeing for it at all. My only plan is to order from Deff closer to release date since they proved to be more than trustworthy shipping and packing wise with my Dawn of the Dead UHD set

Importing from the UK isn't what it used to be, now that they left the EU. Anyone knows a UK store that marks the value down on the packages, to avoid customs taxes and delays? I imagine Arrow doesn't do it, or do they?

I don't know yet. What I do know is that they are aware of the problem and "have an upcoming move to a new distribution centre soon where this is one of the many issues we hope to have ironed out" (quoting from an email response I got*). So I do hope that they will find a solution, so one won't have to pay double taxes when importing to Germany for example.

* I was asking if they have plans to do as amazon does for ex (i.e. substract the UK tax and directly add/pay the German tax instead)

If there are no yellow colors like in the last issue of Arrow. We'll see.

There's no reason why the UHD would be cut. The Arrow BD wasn't. I know the BBFC re-rated Demons 2 a 15, though, when it hit Blu-ray.

No cuts. The UK does not allow unrated releases, the BBFC has to approve films.

Synapse are based in the US so don't have to obtain UK BBFC ratings.

Demons 2 isn't as gory or violent as the first film. The 15 rating is on par with similar (horror) films that have received that rating.

I had no idea these were coming out until last night, I was looking at my Synapse steel books on the shelf and decided to google , bava Demon's UHD, and this new Arrow double feature came up.

Pre-ordered immediately from zaavi usa, came out to $72.31 shipped, direct from Arrow was closer to $80

The first Demon's is one of my all time favorites that I can watch over and over, Demon's 2 of course is nowhere near as good as the first ,but, it has a fantastic atmosphere, the soundtrack is more to my liking than the first and it is still a great movie, just different.

I've read the entire thread and am aware of Diabolikdvd staying they won't carry this out of respect for the US right holders.

You know, when Arrow did the scan for the first 2 Demon's films that was done in late 2011-early 2012, and it was a 2k scan. The knowledge and tech has advanced light years since that time , and as has been mentioned, Arrow wasn't known for incredibly produced presentations at that time, I'm confident in a top tier presentation for these 2.

Also IF Synapse happens to also have the same master and are planning to have their own release , it won't be done until 2025 so I'll enjoy these until their version appears and see if it looks any better.

Demon's from a 4k scan on UHD, this is going to look so colorful and amazing, can't wait.

They had the surprise/not scheduled release of the Massacre at Central High steelbook at the end of last year, so they're throwing some curve balls now it seems. I'm not saying it won't take until 2025, but maybe they'll just drop it later this year.

I trust Arrow, but this speaks to just how impressive the fixes Synapse was able to pull off.
It's the release that really put them on the map for me for considering their releases presumptively definitive. They really take things to a level others don't seem to.

I think some of you are quite severely overrating Synapse. In no universe would a Synapse BD ever even come close to an Arrow UHD.
