Anyone happen to know if the standard version will still come with a slipcase and have a reversible cover?

Says sold out already. Amazon is showing slipcase too. I wonder if all first release copies will have the slipcase.

Hasn't been made live to order on 88's store yet.

And yes, as per the text from the listing, the first 1000 copies will have the slipcase.

Sorry, I'm confused! The standard edition on the 88 Films website is showing as sold out. Does that mean the pre-sales have sold out already?

No, it has not been made live to order yet. 88 do this with all of their listings when they add their titles to their own website; they will always show as sold out at first, and then at some point will make them live to order/pre-order.

So I've just pre-ordered the standard edition direct from the 88 Films website. I don't suppose there is anyway of knowing for sure if I'm getting a copy with a slipcover as it states that the first 1000 will have one?!

Has anyone compared this to the Umbrella release?
88 Films claimed the compression on the Umbrella is $hit compared to their release.
Is this true? Is the 88 Films release better looking?

Umbrella has more special features:
Interview with special effects supervisor Richard Edlund
Masters of the Universe 2 - Tales of the Sequel That Never Was" 2024 featurette (4:14)

French release from Sidonis Calysta also has a exclusive special feature:
“Toy Masters" 2012 featurette (11:47)

I would hazard a guess that this is true.

Umbrella do try hard but they are the company that thought it was OK to only put HOH subtitles on Timecrimes and then when people complained thought it was OK to not bother fixing the disc.
