Tariffs are going to be an issue for this. De minimis ends on August 29.

I was just about to order from YesAsia... If I understand correctly there will be a minimum $80-$200 duty on imports regardless of value. Is that correct? Is there any way to order these now?

I don't think so, the correct amount and description/info of the goods needs to be declared that includes the HTS codes (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) and declarations of origin so the Japanese item(s) gets the correct 15% tariff over the total amount. I'm thinking if an incorrect HTS code and goods value is declared then you may fall on that flat fee of $80-$200. proper documentations will be key here, EMS packages from Japan is a good example of proper documentation attached to the package. and there will be hefty penalties for people that will get caught trying to re-route packages to other countries to avoid tariffs.

My Thunderbolts steelbook will come via EMS (handled by USPS once in the US), i will stay away from DHL and FedEx for awhile.

Not necessarily. Anything under USMCA is still tariff free. I sell a lot of PVC products to the US and nothing is being taxed. Nobody was paying the 25% last month, nobody is paying 35% now but this is because my products are compliant and the US is still recognizing USMCA exemptions. It's different for Asia though as I know my business has been going up since US manufacturers can no longer source some types of raw PVC since it's made in Vietnam and the tariffs priced them out so they're coming to me.

Weird world I'm living in, I'm a Canadian with a growing business because of US Tariffs on Vietnam. US manufacturers are sending business my way which has NEVER happened until now

Snagged one from a Japanese ebay seller, like I did for CA.

Average price is $80-85... plus tax.

How is the 3D for this movie? Compared to other Marvel titles.

I thought it was pretty solid, not as good as F4 but still pretty good.

It's good, medium layers of 3D for most of the film, with some brief moments of stronger 3D layering. I don't remember many pop outs though. It's worth a watch in 3D.

$75+ imported, that's expensive for any movie disc, but in 2025, one of the only real official options. Still better than no disc release at all. I do miss when Disney let Marvel fully support blu ray 3D in the US and Europe, etc. Trying to think of what the last release was in the US and Europe. It's been years. Maybe around 2019. Avengers Endgame 3D import from Europe, Germany, Italy if I remember. That was great as it was in the 35.99 price point or around there.

Fantastic 4, that is one of the best recent Marvel 3D conversions with medium to more strong 3D layers in the 2nd half. Some really epic 3D shots of Galactus.

I was looking forward to this one, but after seeing it I was very disappointed. I dont think 3D would save it for me.

I enjoyed it in 2D though was disappointed at how much screen time Yelena's incessant complaining got, at least in 3D you'll have something more to look at. At least that's what I am hoping. It is a rather grey film but the street level scenes ought to look good on 3D. As always it sucks that Marvel don't expand the aspect ratio on disc any more.

Is it cheaper to do it this way versus having to go through a shipping service like buyee.com?

It's always cheaper having friends or relatives send something to you than buying it via a reshipper that charges you for the service.

That's not what you asked though.

In any case whatever the reshipper's fee is, that's what you save. That will invariably be double figures, using reshippers is not cheap. I think I wasted £30 on each of the last MCU titles because I used WorldShopping.

Actually my wife is Japanese and my kid is going to high school in Japan. My wife goes back a few times a year and my daughter will come back in Dec. I just have them bring back my orders, so no shipping worries, just a sight delay when I get them. Bummer is I'm actually going to Japan myself in Sep and just missing the release date.

Well that would be an import for them lol. I assumed it was Japanese customers complaining.

Aren't those 3D editions imports for most of us?
