Copyrighted entrance music used for Floyd Maywhether...a lawsuit was filed to stop using the music on the Blu-Ray. Hence pulled, OOP and not being re-released.

As you may have noticed, a couple of months ago the 2008 DVD and Blu-ray editions of WWE WrestleMania XXIV were taken down from Silvervision.co.uk unexpectedly and have not been added back since.

It’s speculated that it’s all to do with a lawsuit first filed in 2010 against World Wrestling Entertainment and boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. over the copyright of Mayweather’s entrance music that night.

Whether that’s the issue here or not, Silver Vision clarified on Twitter this week that WrestleMania 24 has been recalled until further notice from WWE. It appears they were given instructions to remove the title from sale but are not aware as to the reason why.

We notice it’s no longer sold at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk by the retailer themselves, nor at WWEShop, Shock Entertainment in Australia, and other major sources.

Indeed it was. I have KOTR, SummerSlam, Unforgiven, No Mercy, Survivor Series, and Armageddon all on DVD from '02, and they're all fantastic! It's just the Judgment Day DVD that's eluded me.

2001 was, I feel, one of their best years, if not the best, with 2002 closely behind it.

2001 was absolutely a great year, I just feel like 2002 just had so much talent throughout the whole year.

Matter of fact, the Judgment Day 2002 and Vengeance 2002 DVD's overseas are not worth much but can easily go $50+ in the US on Ebay.

I don't see why WWF (oops I meant E) have such a problem with entrance themes and the like. It's not like they can't afford them.
