Absolutely right. I don't understand why people think there are more movies or scripts. The story was about Anakin. He's dead. End of saga.

Yeah it was incredible in 3D. I think a lot of people are still thinking old 3D where you had the cardboard, red and blue glasses. The new stuff is better and will keep getting better. I just don't want the stuff filmed with the gimmicks when they purposely have stuff come at your face. James Camerons "Avatar" will be spectacular in 3D.
This is why I think the Star wars movies will be great in 3D. They weren't filmed with 3D gimmicks in mind. That being said, it will just look great because it will have the nice depth to it. I can't wait.

That's exactly it. Great directors, such as Zemeckis and Cameron can do amazing things with 3D because they use it for the benefit of the story. I think you are right about the Star Wars movies being impressive because it will simply enhance the great experience and effects, but not in a cheesy way. Imagine the speeder bike chase in Jedi in 3D, or the asteroid chase in Empire!

Forget empire dude.

Jedi flying through the Death Star in 3D would be sick.

because a long time ago Mark Hamill said something about 9 total. George himself originally said 7, but George changes everything anyway, anything to try and make another buck.

How then, do today's 3D movies work and look? I've never seen one.

I'll bet Mr Lucas has the cleanest kitchen and bathroom in the western hemisphere. If he can wring out a cloth like he wrings out a franchise, it must be something to behold.

Well remember, he's got the original kitchen that came with the house as well as the digitially remastered version with appliances that weren't included in the original release.

I hope to god we get the theatrical releases of Eps IV, V, and VI all on blu by the way.

No, it is like Superman Returns in IMAX 3D. If I have to put on a pair of glasses to watch a movie that I have already seen 100 times then no thanks. I have never liked 3D and proably never will, unless they can invent a way of doing 3D without the glasses.

Agreed about Beowulf 3D; and, no doubt Star Wars is going to be a must see in 3D too.

Lucas JUST QUIT, your messing around with stuff is getting old. Your decision to direct all three prequels was as bad of an idea as having Greedo shoot first. Just release Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi as 2 disc sets, each disc a BD-50 with 7.1 dts master hd, one disc for theatrical and one for special edition. Heck even release the prequels also, just quit your tinkering and destruction of your own creations. And by the way your dialogue on Indy 4 sounded like a 5th grader. or even a novel Idea try creating something now, like not starwars or Indy, heck Howard the DuckII: The Egg would be good

All that proves is that people saw the movie. It's Indiana Jones, people are going to come.

Don't now if this has been posted but I really don't want to read through all of them. He'll bring them to the theater first then to DVD and BR. money, money, money. He knows people will spend the money.

Default star wars 3d 1080p saw a sample clip today

i was out by a spencers that had a mitsubishi trailor out front. phoenix arrowhead area. inside they had a tv, not sure if it was the new laserview or an lcd and it was connected to an external decoder for the 3d hardware. we were given the 3d glasses and the example had a scene from aotc and anh. also some off to space cgi movie which was cool also. however, the scenes from star wars was very impressive and very cool to see. the rep said they paid a lot for the clips from lucasfilm. he said they were told the movie is scheduled to be out in bluray and 3d by november. wether or not that holds to any truth, we shall see.

not bad since i am unable to go to the ces in las vegas.
