sorry
haha watched that match, unbelieveable.

As for pennant, there was me trying to save up a few million just to pay him to leave Liverpool and he is away on a loan to the end of the season. Prob nothing to do of course that he is out of contract at the end of the season after refusing to join a number of clubs by not agreeing personal terms and therefore keeps a signing fee himself when he becomes a free agent?

Yes liverpool are having a bad run at the moment but it is still only January, anything can happen, nice to see torres back who i believe is the most dangerous striker in the world.

Also never write liverpool off in the champions league either, chelsea and arsenal know well over the years that liverpool are never far off the finish line

Oh and arsenal, i cant remember the last time i even read about them in the paper suppose thats a good thing i guess.

Seen joe coles injury, the way he went down i just knew it was bad. I like chelsea and shame to see it happen.

I don't get the Carling Cup here, so I have to enjoy the text on the Beeb's website.

yep, an early goal for Burnley in the second half and we will really have a game on our hands

See Scolari has spoken to Robinho EVERY day since his arrival to England?? U might see him in the Chelsea blue yet!

I still cant believe he went to man city instead of chelsea. I guess he lived up to his reputation of being a mercenary and went to the highest bidder. He will see sence now and try and get a move to stamford bridge.

I think he made his own bed saying what he did about Madrid.. and due to an error on the Chelsea megastore they refused to sell to us.

I suppose he then had no choice...

Where did you read about him and Scolari talking? sounds very interesting!

I was listening to 5 Live this evening and the chap they had on has been writing all about the Robinho saga since he went AWOL and he was the one who said it. He said they talk every single day and he has been like a father figure to Robinho in helping him settle in to English life. He adore Robinho, always has. They journalist said it's not an act of 'tapping up' but rather just being there for advice and to put an arm around.

So I'm pretty sure, from hearing that, Robinho would jump at the chance to move to the Bridge and work with Scolari.

Robinho believed he had been given approval to fly home and couldnt understand when he was included in the party to travel to Tenerife. He went anyway, trained with everyone, and when the news of Kaka broke he had an arguement with Sparky and left the ground. Into a taxi, off to the airport and back to the UK and on to Brazil. Robinho said he would be back on Monday, but hardly good preparation for their match on Wednesday against Newcastle?

Another point they raised was should they come down on Robinho with a heavy fine? Or will that make the situation worse and increase Robinho's desire to leave? (if he really does want to leave that is)

yeah, regardless of Man City's riches they will not want to make a loss only 6 months since they paid their fee.

It was on tonight, just when the footy show started at 7. You might hear it using the listen again feature when the match is over tonight?
