Concerts I own:

Foo Fighters: Live @ Wembley....WOW outstanding show! I saw Foo Fighters in Vancouver and it's like re-living the show all over again. Outstanding PQ and AQ, my favorite concert BD.

Korn Live @ Montreux...I love Korn, not their newest stuff so much, but love their first few albums. Sadly I've never seen them live so this will have to suffice for now and I'm thrilled with this BD. the track list is very strong. AQ isn't as good as Foo Fighters, I read in a previous thread the rear speakers are almost non-existent, feels like front speakers and bass only.

Blue Man Group How To Be A Megastar...My gf loves this group. We saw them live in Victoria and it was an entertaining show! Some of their tracks are pretty rockin! I hesitate to recommend this one unless you really like their music.

On my hitlist: ACDC, the other Korn BD, John Mayer, Legends Live @ Montreux, Rush, Tenacious D, NIN

Wishlist: Anything by Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam, Metallica, Beastie Boys, Queens of the Stone Age (WOULD DIE IF THIS HAPPENED!) basically any sweet metal to melt my face and my soul!

I also enjoy concert Blu-rays and wish there were more, here's my small collection.

Chris Botti: Live with Orchestra and Guests
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City
John Legend: Live at the House of Blues
John Mayer: Where the Light Is
Nine Inch Nails: Beside You in Time Blu-ray

A great Opera disc is Mozart: Die Zauberflöte on Blu-ray, one of my favorite performances with fantastic PCM audio. Also tops on my list is the HD DVD Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 2 in C minor "Resurrection", again stunning audio.

I actually would love to have Godsmack's Changes presented with lossless sound. The track "Batalla de los Tambores" is simply BADASS! And I would let it shake my house till it crumbles while smiling and head-banging the entire time.

Read lots about the Mahler Symphony 2 HD DVD in the past but never pulled the trigger. Perhaps I will in the near future.

The only BDs I have are Chris Botti and The Police. I enjoy each of them will I listen to them and glad I bought those.

at present time i own:

-David Gilmour
-Dave Matthews
-Sheryl Crow
-Justin Timberlake

All are fantastic, but Sheryl Crow and Dave Matthews are the best of the bunch. I had NIN but traded it. I thought it was subpar and the video was terrible. im looking forward to more releases from soundstage. they did awesome with sheryl crow. I wish there were alot more concerts on BD, but honestly so many people suck live that im not sure that would be a good thing. John Mayer will be the next one i get.

Anyone picking up Jeff Beck: Performing This Week...Live at Ronnie Scott's?

Am most likely going to pick this up, but if anyone has bought this and could give their impression...it would be most appreciated.

I would to get Dream Theater's Score on blu-ray. I have the dvd and it's phenomenal. Also a huge Tool fan, but I'm not holding my breath on that one because they don't have any official live footage out. Would love some Joy Division too.

Default Bd concerts

I currently have:

U2 - Rattle & Hum
Rolling Stones - Shine a Light
Police - Certifiable
Alice Cooper - Montreux
Elton John - Red Piano
kd Lang - Live in London
Meat Loaf - 3 Bats Live
The Cure - Trilogy
Queen - Montreal & Live Aid

I think that's all. I thought about elton 30@MSG but I already have the DVD that comes with an entire extra disc of stuff and I'm not sure it's worth upgrading just the one disc.
Interesting, with the Meat Loaf uk blu-ray there was an insert inside advertising some other blu releases I haven't seen out yet, like realeases for Scissor Sisters, Simply Red - RAH, and most importantly Rolling Stones - Biggest Bang. I wonder if those are all still in the works?

I'm hoping for more as the format grows. Trouble is a great deal of the kind of old stuff I like probably won't look much better on Blu. I'd love to see crystalline transfers of old Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult and 70's Kiss but any source material isn't likely to be in good enough shape to benefit from Blu. Having said that The Who Kilburn was excellent and The Song Remains The Same was surprisingly good. I refuse to buy The Who IOW as its still using the wrong track sequence but I'd dearly love to see a Blu remaster of The Kids Are Alright. I thought the picture quality on Dave Gilmour's Remember That Night was variable and I can't understand why Gdansk hasn't been released on Blu. I think I saw something about a deluxe Blu of Woodstock, Criterion first listed Monterey Pop and Gimme Shelter as among their first Blus last year and if Roger Waters The Wall In Berlin ever makes an appearance I hope it comes with an optional 4:3 disc as it was originally broadcast. Which reminds me, Lou Reed's Berlin was impressive

I love concert BD. They sound amazing and are so enjoyable to watch. I am waiting for the new Chris Botti Blu-ray which I should get either tomorrow or monday. Hopefully Dream Theater will come to Blu soon.

So would I, but the quality wouldn't be that great given the age of the footage if any does exist. For those who have the Cure-Trilogy and Paramore-Final Riot, how are the PQ/AQ on those releases. I found the Cure on tower.com for around $15, and was hoping to pick that one up. http://www.tower.com/cure-trilogy-bl...wapi/113029823
