Ok guys I finally got my Center Channel Speaker the PSB Image C5 Centre.
But im not sure where to put it! should I just move my Directv and AVR to the bottom shelf and put there? or should I build a riser for the tv and put it right in front of the tv on the top shelf?? ![]() please help!! Thanks, BDS |

To get the best possible imaging from your front stage, you would want all three tweeters lined up as close as possible going across. It isn’t always possible to do, so from my understanding as long as the tweeters are about a 12in difference you should be ok.
So, with all of that said, if you can build that TV riser to get the center channel as level to the left and right speakers, then you should. And congrats on the new center channel. |

Another trick is to try and have the tweeter positions of your fronts at ear level. So I'd go with whatever brings your speakers closest to ear level while seated.

I would mount the TV on the wall. Once you get your center channel, I would spread your speaker a little further out and tow then in-ward, so that you have a wider soundstage. |

![]() The Left, Center & Right front speakers should be the same distance to your seating position with the tweeters as close in height to each other as possible (and as close to ear level as possible). As in ........ [Show spoiler] or [Show spoiler] For 7 channels it should be like ....... [Show spoiler] or [Show spoiler] And just because your receiver has 7 channels doesn't mean you have to use all of them. If your space is rather small (like my own) a 5 channel system works wonders ![]() Last edited by DangeRuss; 09-15-2013 at 11:08 AM. |

Here something that will give you an idea of how the distances should be. They are not exact numbers, but should give you an idea. It shows with a 24" difference, but I believe it should say a max of 12" (the less the number the better). |

Hey bd. You want you front three speakers so that the tweeter is at ear level. If your surrounds are atvear level leave them there. Just put your center as close as possible to ear level. If you cant at a last resort angle it up or down so it points to ear level.
