One of my favorites is the entire opening scene in the library in ghostbusters, I love the music in that scene as well. I'll never forget seeing that as a little kid.

Tropic Thunder. The fake previews are hilarious. Then the opening scene of the actual movie with all the actors "under attack" and Ben Stiller is running to the helicopter.

gotta admit i wasnt a huge fan of that movie, but you're 100% right. the intro was hilarious.

I feel the same about people who say they will buy Max Payne because the audio is amazing.

I have read the book, and I have read the review on the first 25 minutes...I am merely making a call that it WILL BE one of the best opening scenes

I like Terminator 2. With a nice sound system, the skull gets crushed and shakes the house. Sets the mood for me at that point!!!
