I just won a close game vs hof-city, 3-2. But when it was going to the rate your opponent screen server shutdown I disconnect and it doesnt save, crazy stuff

Odd. That happened to me and AU the other day. He ended up throwing a game to me, to cancel it out, which is probably the fairest thing to do (even though the glitch prevents you from potentially sweeping the series).

If it didn't give either of your credit for the game, I'd suggest starting again, and have hof-city let you score a run, and then quit in the 2nd inning. That way you'll get the win, like you should've had, and you won't end up having to waste much time (playing 1 inning and then quitting will take all of 3 minutes).

Otherwise you can leave that game alone and I'll add the win tomorrow when the deadline is over. Just let me know what you decide to do.

Sorry for the sort of angry post earlier. Shouldn't have been but was shocked it gave me the loss. I wouldn't have cared if it didn't give me anything. But that 1 in the loss is like a smear on my perfection.

me and crazybolos were just playing and it disconnected at the end of the second inn while he was up 1-0 and it gave me the win. What should we do?

UMMMM....I cant get to the screen My Leagues....wtf...it just takes me back to the sportsconnect page menu thing. It wont let me in.

hey mike79, i've been workin on a paper for my english class so i havent even gotten on my ps3 that last few days, but let me know when you can play. If i have to take a loss or two since i've delayed it, it's cool.

I'll leave it to the two of you to determine that. I would probably just let it be, since it wasn't much of a lead, and the game was still early, but you may consider throwing a game to him, to "cancel" out your false-win (even if you think you would've ended up winning that 1-0 game).

You might have to start the disc over. I've had it where it disconnects and i can't get back on unless I quit the game and get back on.

i was going to try to play games tonight but when i got on around 11 the network seem to be down

nevermind we just had an amazing 14 inning game, the best competition ive had so far, and i ended up winning. I gave up the homerun to the first batter so it was almost exactly like the first game. I would imagine that crazybolos agrees with me.

I think there should be a little extension for us to complete series 1 mostly because even though me and HOF-City have bothe been on, we dont seem to be on the same time except that hell be on tomorrow but after the deadline. maybe extend it by a day or two just this once because its starting off and people are still becoming situated?

I would extend it if I could, but I don't think I can.

I know that Series 2's deadline can't start until I move the season past Series 1, but I'm not sure if people can keep playing after the deadline (so the league will just be inactive until I move it to Series 2, since nobody can play any games once the countdown hits 0).

I guess we'll all find out tomorrow. If the countdown/deadline is just a general guideline, and people can keep playing after it expires, as long as I don't advance the season to the next series, then I'll let that happen.

I had a good game against AU last night (though he might say it wasn't good). I took a 4-3 lead into the 9th, and then padded it with a solo HR, to make it a 5-3 game.

In the bottom of the 9th he loaded up the bases with 0 outs. Next batter hit into a double-play, but the runner on 3rd scored, and the runner on 2nd moved to 3rd, so it was 5-4 with 2 outs, and the tying run 90 feet away. Next batter grounded out to 2nd to end the game.

It was a good game. I just cannot get the ship going right. I had a couple of baserunning outs again versus Bill tonight as well. It will happen and when it does I will be happy again
