the HD broadcast on spike last night looked horrible
AOTC, not so much

btw, today is Star Wars Day on Spike
they're airing all the films starting in a little while
I notice that last night after coming home from band practice, they were at Attack Of The Clones, too bad I don't have Spike HD

Silly gooses.... "Attack of the Clones" was the first movie (ever) shot entirely in digital HD.

"The Phantom needs editing Menace" was shot on film.

Director George Lucas has said that there are a couple of shots in the movie that were "filmed" on digital video instead of 35 mm film. He also said that he dares anyone to try and figure out which shots these were.

Two scenes where shot in digital. Hence, it was shot on film is a fair statement as aside for a few minute it was shot using 35mm cameras.

One of the scenes that was shot digitially is where Qui-gon is sitting outside with Anakin the night before the race, after Anakin leaves, he has Obi-wan test Anakin's blood sample. I don't know what the other scene was.
