(Total Blu-ray 468) That makes no since as I have been reading several people who have put their collection on there as well.

So, my question is, what's going on? Am I seeing some bias here?
yours probably got hacked into by a hd-dvd supporter and thought it was funny to do that to someone who supports blu-ray. why are hd-dvd supporters act like little kids?

You're right - I have around 70 BDs in my list. Something is obviously wrong (and I doubt it is an HD DVD conspiracy). DVD Spot should be contacted to see if there is some glitch in their system, of if the numbers are in the 100s or maybe 1000s, but isn't noted as such.

I think that number of BDs denotes the amount of unique titles, not the amount of actual discs.

Maybe that number just count the Members that own Blu rays, just my 2 Cents.

If it is unique titles, then someone on the site should denote that it is "unique" Blu-rays instead of total number of each on their site.

Greenmotion is right.

The number at the main page is the total number of unique titles in their database. It is not the total number of users who have added Blu-Rays. You will see it slowly go up as time goes on. If you go back in this thread others have raised the same point but the number was in the 300's.

DVDSpot goes by UPC codes. So that number is actually unique UPC codes in the database. One other thing is the site's database totals are not updated as soon as you make your entries. I believe the site is updated once each night.

We are now at 59 percent Blu-Ray! Thanks to everyone who added their collections. It's a great site to keep track of your collections I encourage those who haven't signed up to check it out.

Yes, it is now more closely mirroring the actual market share numbers - in the U.S. and Canada anyway. The rest of the world is an even greater advantage for Blu.

Make sure you update your numbers on here. I can't believe that with all those people buying Spiderman 3, Cars and Ratatouille that we could have lost 1%

Blu-ray increased to 63% this week! It had been stuck at 62% for a while. I'm sure Pirates 3 and Superbad helped.
