Yes,

I saw that one online too. But it's $79 vs $49 - so I'm trying to see how people have theirs setup. I think Aerodude73 has the subdude - so I'm wondering if it's fine or not.

Anyway, on the subdude thing, I actually use a GRAMMA. It's longer than necessary, but works great and fits the PA-120 fine.

Hrm, I know I didn't pay that much for mine. I think mine was either $49 or $59- might've been through their ebay portal. Might be worth a look. Either way, good luck. It's a well-made product that helped with my rumbling old house.

Oh, ok - I was looking at prices on Amazon.com.

I'll check ebay also (I usually do). Anyone have a subdude? Comments?

Check post #1 of https://forum.blu-ray.com/subwoofers...er-risers.html. There are many links to subwoofer risers that you can buy. Also, if you go through the pages of the thread, you will see other members who have built their own risers or have bought Subdude or other risers. I like the risers from Elemental Designs because their height is 4".

Thanks Big Daddy.

I will look at that thread also and see what's available.

Oops, it's $79 for the Great GRAMMA and $49 for the GRAMMA. I think I'll go with that one - it's cheap, the size works and I don't have to do any work!

You're correct - it's $49 for the "Gramma" Riser, so I'd go with that. I do have the Subdude & it's right at the very front edge & may be over a "tad" at the rear, but not enough to worry about to me.

Hahaha, nice buddy! I should have this movie any day now (ordered the 2-movie collection Sunday at B&N with my 50% off coupon ), so I KNOW it'll Sound amazing. The Review gave it 5 of 5 on the AQ
[Show spoiler](from the review: "The LFE channel devotes its attention to bass beats and explosions, to equally rousing ends")
(& PQ), so I'm sure it'll Look amazing also.

** Edit: I just noticed, almost forgot actually, that this has a 7.1 DTS-HD MA Audio track Daaammmnnn!! **

Check out AIR FORCE ONE if you get a chance. That has an Extremely Hard-Hitting Dolby TRUE-HD audio track. It Really SLAMS you into submission!!

I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing this one. Loved it in the theater and looking forward to getting it tomorrow!

Yea, I caught "Legacy" in an IMAX theater ("12,000 Watts of Digital Surround Sound", as they like to say/show on the screen ), so obv. that sound system was literally moreso than a normal theater's audio system.

Great to hear. Don't forget; instead of the normal 5.1 DTS-HD MA track, this one has a 7.1 DTS-HD MA track

Ok,

So I watched Tron Legacy, and the PA-120 shook the house. Decided it's time to pull the trigger on the sub riser - so I got the Gramma - should arrive sometime next week. Can't wait to see if I notice a difference.

I also have a CD holder/cabinet next to the sub, and the back paneling on the CD cabinet is "shaking" or rattling. After I try the GRAMMA I'll see if I need to remove the back panel off the CD cabinet.

I think I'll use Tron Legacy as a test to compare. It has some really low parts both music and LFE. And it's a very fun/cool movie!

The other night I was playing it ( one of my many times since buying the movie),,, since my system is on the loft,, I noticed a loud humming noise coming the windows downstairs,,, and I thought I had it turned down low enough to avoid a neighbors complaint,,,, not the wife though,,, "turn that down, your rattling the entire house",,,,

Do you have your Sub(s) on Risers (I forget). If so, then there shouldn't be anything rattling. Humming perhaps, but hopefully not rattling.

If you had them up OFF the Floor/Carpet (on risers), you prob wouldn't have the windows rattling ($50/"Gramma" at Amazon). I have 1 DIY Riser & 1 SubDude ($50/Amazon, but the GRAMMA is a tad larger so the Sub would fit better) & nothing rattles. $50 for each Gramma, or build 2 yourself. Problem solved.
